Good short week at the Devossion. While they are still working out the kinks since new ownership, overall the stay was enjoyable. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Beach is okay given it is public. We were delayed almost 2 days due to weather and our Concierge Aaron ensured we arrived safely at 4am and kept checking on us the rest of the week to ensure we were having a good time. Even got us a late checkout on departure. Food was fresh and above average. Only downsides we noted were the service was slow at the restaurants and some communication issues between staff members. Their no reservations required policy needs to change. If you don’t get to a restaurant before 6pm you could wait up to 2 hours for a table. As well, the pools are not heated so we didn’t use the swim up and only dipped in the main pool when we got hot in the sun. There is no swim up bar but the waitstaff are very good to keep food and drinks coming all day. Depending on price we will likely return. We got a great deal package with flights on Expedia but on its own I would consider the prices a bit expensive.
