"We are so glad we found this apartment in Valdaora. It was a great location for us while visiting the Dolomites. Short drives to both Lago de Braises and Tre Cime with great views all around. The apartment is newly updated and very clean. It is just two blocks from the bakery and market. We found the kitchen to be well stocked with things for cooking basics, nice to make our own meals while traveling. Wi-Fi worked well. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. "Nelly, Lena and Raffael have created an absolutely wonderful place in the countryside. The history and the workmanship of the accommodations has made for a semi rustic yet luxurious setting. But what really set it apart was their warm hospitality. We felt so welcome. The breakfast was so delicious with items made from their own gardens. We loved it here. "

Hotel Goldene Rose

Hotel Goldene Rose

8/10 Good
"I asked in advance if I could have a room with afternoon sun as there hotel doesn’t have many south facing rooms and was given one which was great but balcony looked over a private residence yard which was fine as you didn’t see them much. Lovely staff , great breakfast and comfy beds. Fridge didn’t work it was like an oven and no kettle in the room but I filled my flask with hot water daily. Didn’t use the spa but had a look and it looked nice you have to book a slot at certain times to use it. Great pizza restaurant over the road , take away available as well over the road if you don’t want to go out or use the hotel. Supermarket next door for your convenience. Great location to visit local area."
