Less than one mile level walk from the railway and bus station. This delightful cottage is also perfectly situated within walking distance to the Cornish Pirates Rugby Stadium, town centre and all its amenities. Leave your car behind and take advantage of the excellent public transport links to visit popular destinations such as Mousehole and St Ives, where parking can be challenging.

    Recently refurbished, Dalton Cottage features its own private courtyard, leading into an open plan living and dining area on the ground floor. The owner has provided all the home from home comforts you would expect to make your stay enjoyable. The first floor houses a cosy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, providing a perfect haven for couples. This comfortable base is ideal for exploring the area, popular with walkers, nature lovers, and cyclists.

    Penzance is renowned for its lively contemporary art scene, exotic gardens, and superb coastal walks. The town offers a variety of dining options, nearby Newlyn is well worth a visit for its culinary delights with daily caught fish and seafood on the menu. Don’t miss the picturesque village of Mousehole, with its quaint charm and stunning views, wander around the harbour and explore the narrow streets. Just under 10 miles away is Land’s End, a popular spot for wildlife watchers hoping to glimpse rare birds and plants. The dramatic coastline and stunning scenery epitomise the beauty of Cornwall boasting some of the prettiest beaches, such as Sennen and Porthcurno, as well as the open air Minack Theatre which hosts regular events. If you like culture St Ives is brimming with galleries and studios, home to The Tate and Barabara Hepworth Museum and sculpture gardens or take a boat ride from the harbour. So much to see and do! I spent a week here in early September and was very impressed.In terms of location, it's about a 10-minute walk to the town centre and a further 5 minutes to the bus & rail stations. The Western Promenade and a Lidl store are literally just around the corner.The accommodation is very modern, clean and very well equipped (oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, TV). There's an open-plan living/kitchen area downstairs with a small 2-seater sofa plus a small dining table & 2 dining chairs.Upstairs there's a compact bedroom with a standard size double bed (one side up against the wall), but not a great deal of storage space. There is, however, an excellent modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower - that was a real plus for me. The towels, bedding etc. all seemed to be brand new, as was the accommodation as a whole.I couldn't find fault with the property at all - it was perfect for me.
