Nice house. Plenty of room. Very clean upon arrival. Didnt get to enjoy the pool but once, too busy at the parks. Little hiccup getting permission to park our RV on the property other than that stay was great

The house was fine but we spent 3 of the 4 days with a constant beeping smoke detector. We called and messaged multiple times a day and it took them until the last day of our stay to send someone to fix it.

Nice location and size

The property was a great size! With two living spaces and lots of bedrooms this worked great for our multigenerational family. The property was slightly more run down than expected and there were bugs. I know it’s Florida but supplying bug spray would be nice. There was a lack of towels and with the dryer not working, we weren’t able to do laundry or dry out after an afternoon monsoon. Overall it was solidly a 4 out of 5!

Lots of space and close to Disney

Property is quite spacious and ideally located close to Disney. The gated community adds an additional layer of security that makes it great for families. Owner was very communicative and provided great details on accessing the property and as well very responsive to questions or issues. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Nice enough

Pretty good stay. We've always enjoyed the location of Windsor Hills; close to Disney, easy to get to, comfortable and safe. The house was roomy and more than adequate for our family of twelve. If there was anything negative it would be: only two cars can be parked in the driveway (if you have a 3rd car, it has to be parked at the main entrance area), the pool was murky and not useful for our stay. The pool maintenance guy came out twice to add chemicals, but didn't solve it. No kitchen towels. One bath towel per guest for the duration of the stay. The house is a bit worn out (kitchen cabinets, showers, sliding door to pool area, broken bar stool). Otherwise, it was fine.

Christmas vacation

Two families with adult children celebrated the holidays at this home. Lots of rooms and bathroom for everyone to have their own space. The home was clean, but needs a little tlc. We had chosen to have the pool heated and the bbq. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai. The pool night lights were burnt out. We had planned a pool tournament, but the pool table was broken and unusable. The location was great between golf courses and parks, This is a quiet secure neighbourhood. Overall, convenient, great space, but requires a little attention to details.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Book a different house. The games that are advertised, none of them work. The grill that is advertised for a fee, is a tailgate grill that you could buy for 50 much less rent for 90. We found ants in all but one room in the house, most were in the kitchen and had to throw out food because of them. One of the counters in the kitchen was wobbly to the point it was about to fall and was a safety concern. The fire extinguishers were on the floor in the pantry as their holders had been ripped out of wall and instead of repairing them just throw in the pantry. The house had not been cleaned. Multiple sets of sheets were not clean. There were hair balls in the showers. Crackers were on the window sills behind the curtains that were never moved, did I mention the ants. The laminate floor was coming up on the stairs and had been duck taped in several spots, but there was a still a spot that was no taped and tripped several of us as we come down the stairs. This house needs major repair. Bottom line, it is not safe nor clean. They did give us a small refund but no where near what was warranted. There was also nothing beyond the bare minimums. Usually a VRBO has what a normal house does, this house has very little. Good luck finding towels to go down to the pool at the center of the neighborhood, we had to buy some. The location is great, just find another house in this area that is safe and has been cleaned to enjoy your Disney vacation.

Lots of room and a great location

This was a big house with more then enough room for all of my family. There were small things wrong such as lots of little bugs (It's Florida, it happens) and the pool turning green overnight, but the owners were VERY responsive when I contacted them about it which I appreciated. We loved sitting outside by the pool and just soaking in the Florida sunshine. This could be a super nice property if a little money was thrown in to do some updates but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The main resort pool was a highlight of our trip!

Family getaway

We loved the location and the resort amenities of Windsor Hills. Very quite spot with easy access to Disney. The house was fine, very big and accommodated our family well. The beds were comfortable and the home was fairly clean. The pool was a little dirty upon arrival but that could be due to several tears in the screen of the lanai. Given it was December we did pay to heat the pool, which made the pool very warm and nice! The house is outdated and needs a fair amount of maintenance TLC in some areas. Bring your own kitchen towels and pot holders as there are none. We did however have a very hard time reaching anyone with issues and questions we had concerning the home with the property management company. They responded to us but the day after we had already checked out.

Okay.

All in all our stay was enjoyable. Arrived to find someone else’s items on the counter and in the refrigerator. Seemed a little odd. We confirmed with property manager we were the only people staying at the rental. Furniture will probably need to be upgraded soon. Looking a little worn. There were a few worms from the trees inside the house, not a big deal, but might get a handyman out to make sure doors and windows are sealed better. House was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful Vacation, Great Place

Property was in great location, clean and nicely laid out for all of us. Loved the décor. Swimming pool and patio was a wonderful place to hang out and have fun, having the pool heated made it great for the little ones to enjoy. Loved having the hot tub. Quiet neighborhood and very well kept. Close to everything, shopping, golf, entertainment. Overall a wonderful vacation spot. Thank you, would definitely stay again.

Great community, house lacking

When our group first arrived, half of the house did not have power. The maintenance team that was called in, worked extremely hard for to get our power running by 10pm. They were very diligent and friendly, and came back the following morning to finish up their work. We appreciated them greatly. Our oven was also broken, and did not get fixed until day 4. The home’s cleanliness was majorly lacking. There were no mattress pads/protectors on 2 of the main king beds; the comforters were not clean and smelled terrible; the baby pack n play that my 2 year old grand son had to sleep in, was stained with crusted, dried on food; the counters were obviously not wiped, as there were coffee stains from prior tenants. Overall, the neighborhood and location were wonderful. The water park and clubhouse were a great thing to have as a break between theme parks. We loved the location, but not the actual house. It definitely needs some attention.

Not satisfied! This rental has a ton of potential.

We walked in and at first glance it looks okay. After putting a few things away my wife's feet were black. They came out and cleaned two days later. We wore shoes inside the rest of the time. We wiped all the commonly touched surfaces off. They were not cleaned. The pool had no lights so we couldn't enjoy it in the evening. The washer didn't work. They came out and fixed it three days later. The air table hardly worked and the pool table was no ware near level (broken foot). We felt it was by far NOT worth the money! There were listings for less. We definitely didn't get what we paid for.

Cold Week in FL

We enjoyed the house and the warm spa. Spent most of our time at Disney. The weather was unusually cold and we needed heat in the house - the thermostat did not seem to understand. Everything else was great, with the exception of the Dryer not working.

It could have been alot better

the house set up was great, cleanliness was absent. lots of dust and hair. stains on carpets and linens. there were 14 of us and they only gave us 7 towels, half of which were pool towels. there were no wash clothes. there were no oven mits for the kitchen and no can opener. the dryer sounded like it was a rocket ship taking off and burned one of our shirts. the issues are obviously not with the owners but the management company. if things are not going to be available, it would be best to let the guests know so that the expectation is known ahead of time. "A starter set of linen" in a normal rental and hotel for that matter is 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel. 1 wash cloth per person. also concerned with how clean the linen was as the bed spreads were stained, and there is no way that washer and dryer on site is cleaning 6 bedrooms worth of linen in the time frame of 10am to 4pm. the was also a broke tile at the patio door. this is a big time safety issue and a cheap fix. we had to take a mat from one of the bathrooms to ensure our kids didnt get cut by it. the management company needs to get it together. this place could be awesome if it was properly managed.

Great home for us

This home worked well for us. We had 7 adults and 5 kids (3 boys, 2 girls) under 11. The boys had the Star Wars room. The girls had the Frozen room. 3 king beds were great. The biggest hit was the pool and spa. Paying for heating the pool was worth it and was a great way to unwind after a long day at the parks. Another hit was the community pool area. The only thing that I would suggest is upgrading the couch in the family room off the kitchen as it seemed to be disintegrating and was leaving pieces on our clothes when we sat on it. Overall a very positive experience!

Stay here. You will love it!

We really enjoyed this property. We would stay here again if we needed to be in the Orlando area. This house is within the gated community and is close to all things Disney and Universal ...and near a Super Walmart which is a great place to buy food and supplies. You can even walk to the community pool and recreation center. We saw loads of wildlife on our walk to the rec center including an alligator in the pond enclosure! Our granddaughter loved it. We highly recommend getting the pool and spa heated. It was a real pleasure for the entire family to enjoy our own private pool and spa each day! Only a few problems. We spent about an hour airing out the house upon arrival (musty odor - probably from the rugs) ;and cleaning windows and window sills. It was worth it though because the view from the house to the pool is great and we even saw fireworks !!! The light in the hot tub did not work ; and we needed to go to the store to purchase pizza pans and adult everyday drinking glasses. There were only 6. Unfortunately the dishwasher door was in disrepair and the airhockey game was non-functional. On the bright side the towels were clean and fluffy, the beds were comfortable and the linens were wonderful. The house contains tons of beach towels for the pool area. After the first hour of sanitizing the house ourselves I would give this house and property an A+++!!! Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful Kissamme house with us.

This is our 4th time staying at Windsor Hills. We absolutely love the property. Things we liked about this house were: layout, location, pool, kitchen supplies, comfort of beds. Areas for improvement are: white leather couch (top is very worn), carpet is dirty and coming up in a few spots, showers were old and somewhat stained.
