Fantastic Property in Beautiful Croatia
The property was beautifully located in rural Gata. It has everything required for a family wanting to relax and have fun on holiday and was as lovely as it looks in the photos. It was very well equipped for dining, with plenty of cooking equipment, plates, glasses etc which isn't always the case with rental homes, even when advertised for large groups.
We loved the views and quiet village but also enjoyed being able to walk to 3 restaurants (Berito was our favourite) and a small supermarket, all within 5-10 minutes walk. We even took a hike up into the mountains behind the house which offered a brilliant view of the surrounding area.
The town of Omis is only a 15 minute drive away and is well worth a visit with plenty of shops, restaurants, beach and the beautiful River Cetina.
Ivana and Tony were very welcoming and clearly put a lot of care into the property. They live opposite the house and tend to the pool daily but we never saw them doing this as they do it very early in the morning. They respected our privacy but it was reassuring to have them close by in case we needed anything, and they very kindly delivered some lovely homemade drink and cakes! It was our first time in Croatia and we will definitely return.
