Beachfront Home for Vacations & Intimate Beach Events

This Oceanside beach rental includes an ocean view living room, ocean view dining area, ocean view kitchen, ocean view decks and patios and a private sandy beach back yard complete with a fire ring. During the day, you will be building sandcastles and relaxing on your big, wide, private sandy beach backyard. At sunset, you will sit next to the beach bonfire while enjoying your views and roasting smores! Often the waves splash right up to or into your backyard! This is probably the largest oceanfront yard in the city with its lush green lawn and its private sandy backyard. You will love using the BBQ, cooking hotdogs and hamburgers as you watch the dolphins jump and play right in front of the cottage. Your stay will be the serene and relaxing beach vacation you are looking for!

The beach house is fresh and bright with all new coastal decor. The ocean view kitchen has new and modern appliances, equipment, and gadgets you need for spectacular beachfront dining, including a K cup coffee maker. The three bedrooms are fully appointed with fresh duvets and towels, including fluffy beach towels. Two of the bedrooms have ocean views! The home has everything you need for your stay at the beach, all you have to bring are your clothes and food! Of course, we have smart TV`s, a ceiling mounted living room tv, cell phone charging stations, arcade are in the finished garage and free high-speed WIFI.

The location of the home also makes it a spectacular choice. It is an easy walk to the wide sandy beach of the pier area, the many fun new restaurants, gastro pubs, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even the movies are an easy walk. Bring your beach cruisers because we have miles of coastal trails and it`s always fun to ride to the shops and restaurants at nearby Oceanside Harbor. Boats and kayaks can be rented at the harbor.

Bring your bikes. There are lots of places to ride! Go to harbor and rent a boat or paddle board. The city offers a fun electric shuttle that will pick you up at your door and take you to any beach or coastal restaurant and then bring you back to the beach house. Just download the Ride Circuit app and select Oceanside.

Not only is this beachfront rental perfect for lounging by the ocean, but it’s also ideally situated for day trips to San Diego’s top attractions. It’s a great beach rental to be close to LEGOLAND and SeaWorld and to the San Diego Zoo. Many world-class golf courses are a short drive away. You’re never far from exciting adventures. You can even take a day trip north to explore the charming beach towns of San Clemente, Laguna Beach, or spend a magical day at Disneyland or Universal Studios. We have the Padres Baseball, Del Mar Race Track and world class water sports.

We also are pleased to offer this property for Intimate Daytime Beach Weddings, Beach Elopements and Celebrations for 18 special guests. Please note the posted rates are for non event stays of 8 people or less. There are additional fees for events, elopements, weddings, engagements, showers, birthdays and parties or whenever there is an event or if there are more than 8 people on property. Fresh!!! Well equipped we invited friends over had plenty of room to entertain

This is our second time to enjoy this home! Plenty of room, quaint, clean, linens are fabulous, we are so great full to be able to make so many wonderful memories with family and friends!

My family loved it!

I couldn't be more pleased with this beach cottage! It was much larger than I had anticipated! One week was not long enough; we all wanted to stay another week! Easy access to the beach. A green lawn for my grandchildren to play. Washer and dryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker all included. The bedding was so clean and smelled awesome! We drank coffee by the ocean every morning and sat there again in the evening as we watched the sunset. The only downfall was that we did not meet the owners of the property; I was waiting for our cookies that everyone else bragged about ha ha!

AMAZING VIEW....

Our stay in Oceanside was perfect, I have been a lot of places Aruba, St Maarten, Cancun ect.. and this was one of the most beautiful views I have seen. Almost every day we saw Dolphins. The location was perfect we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view from the beach house and the yard... It was awesome!! it was so beautiful we didn't go out much we didn't want to miss out on seeing the sunset :). The beach house was very comfortable it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.. The owner was always helpful and always got right back to us if we had any questions....The last day my son in law got stung by a stingray which I understand is very rare....

Extremely Disappointed

Our stay at this property was very disappointing. After spending quite a bit of money to rent this place for week, we opened the door to a house that was in need of some cleaning to say the least. Upon entering, you could see that the furniture was dirty and stained to the point that we covered them with towels before sitting on them. While emptying the ice chest, water spilled onto the floor and when it was wiped up the towel was black. The house had not been cleaned properly and since each guest pays a cleaning fee there is no excuse for a dirty house. There was mold on the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen utensils were rusted and luckily we brought a can opener with us because the one there wouldn't work. If you are going to rent a house for thousands of dollars a week, I think you could spend a hundred dollars and buy new kitchen items when they rust over. We understand that this house is at the beach and things rust, but that is no excuse for not spending the time to keep up your property with a little care. The locks on the doors didn't work so there were baskets filled with rocks which doesn't actually keep the doors shut. It would be nice to have privacy when in the bathroom. Also, the upstairs toilet area is next to the front window which only had a thin curtain on it. At night, I would have to use the restroom in the dark so that people couldn't see in. A shade would be nice! You couldn't broil with the oven. There were not enough bath towels. When you allow that many guests you should provide the appropriate number of towels. The trash cans were half full when we arrived. By the fourth day, we ran out of room and my husband carried trash bags home with him to throw away. Also, the dryer vents into the house so it blows dust back into the room which caused one guest to have severe allergies. We stayed there with young kids and were disappointed to see that at the end of the property you have to climb down rocks to reach the beach. This was not conducive to young kids who wanted to play in the water and stood at the edge of a drop off. Also some of the chairs were broken and where was the red umbrella that it shows in the picture? I think the worst part was the neighbors Great Danes, yes that is plural. Every time you stepped outside you could smell the pungent odor of dog urine and feces. Needless to say it made enjoying the ocean unbearable. This was certainly not the vacation that we had planned on having.

Fantastic!

My sisters , mom and cousin met in San Diego to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. The house was perfect and the location was great. We went to the local farmers market on Thursday, took a stroll down the pier to a wonderful ice cream parlor, and enjoyed margaritas on the deck. The owner, Kim, is great. All communication prior to arriving and during our visit was courteous and prompt. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Home away from home

We had an amazing time! The house was in perfect walking distance from several activities and the kids each had their own room. They would say it is good to be home when we would get back ( I think having the beach right in the backyard helped). The beds were very comfortable and having the window open listening to the waves every night was a little piece of heaven. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful vacation. The private beach was perfect during high tide. We loved the views in the morning and at sunset. The cottage feel was just perfect for our beach vacation. We are planning on renting it next year.

We enjoyed this location very much. The house is old but decorated very nice and kept clean. Beautiful back yard to relax and enjoy the view. Fire pit was my favorite. Very easy to work with.

This house was perfect. Clean and cute. We used the fire ring every day. The kids played on the private beach. Really nice that is was a private home and not a condo. Privateer Pizza was great too!

Wonderful family time on the beach

My family loved sitting around by the bon fire, eating, talking and making smores. The dolphins really do jump right in front of the house. We walked to LTH to eat and even walked to the village area to see the new star wars movie.

Perfect beach home!

Absolutely loved this beach home! We rented this home to have a small beach wedding here and it far exceeded our expectations! The view was magnificent with the ocean behind us and the sun setting. The stairway from the upper level made the perfect entrance to enter the march down the aisle! Kim provided me with good information for the timing of the ceremony so the glare of the sun would not be a factor in pictures, and let use a few white folding chairs for our parents! The decor in the house is exactly how you would expect a beach house to look like- so cute and tastefully done. The size of the home worked perfectly for our large family, mostly adults with the 4 different bedrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone. The large deck out back was great to sit out on for meals and the grass provided a great place for the kids to run around and play on when we needed a break from the sand! We sat around the fire pit each night making smores and listening to the crashing waves. Each morning we watched the surfers catch the waves while enjoying a cup of coffee from the balcony. This was the first family vacation we have planned as a blended family and we all agreed that we want to make this a yearly tradition and hopefully be able to book this same beach home again- it was perfect for us!

The Swanky Oceanfront Home was everything I expected and more! Tastefully decorated, very clean, everything I needed for my long weekend getaway. Loved that it was walking distance to the Pier, restaurants, spa's, shopping.

Great family experience

Dream Vacation!

We love this house so much we book every year. Waking up to the beach just steps from your bed is heaven. We really enjoy all the amenities such as beach toys, chairs, towels, umbrella's, and boogie boards for us to use on the beach. The house is so clean when we arrive. And the grass yard and private beach is so nice to have for the kids to play on. Kim (the landlord) is so nice and helped us out so much during our stay. We really love that the pier is so close and there is plenty of parking in front of the house with the driveway. We will never stay anywhere but here when booking a beach vacation. It truly is divine!

Perfect Beach House

I grew up in San Diego, and every summer we go back and spend a week but usually stay in a hotel. This was our first time renting a home in SD and the location right on the sand was perfect. Our 14 and 10 year old sons still talk about what a great week it was and loved being right on the sand, having a fire every night and playing a bit of soccer or football on the grass. We have rented homes in other areas and this house was by far the best. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is a great beach with soft sand, minimal seaweed and nice waves for boogie boarding. My dad, who has limited mobility, came with us and Kim was so helpful in picking this house as he did not have to deal with any stairs but could still sit on the upper deck and watch the kids in the yard and surf. Was an absolutely perfect week. Looking forward to coming back.

Best Vacation I've ever had!

We stayed last September and had the most amazing time. The beach house looks like straight out of a pottery barn catalogue and the location was perfect. The weather was wonderful and we swam everyday. We loved that there was sand toys for the kids and boogie boards to use. The pier was just a short walk away. On Thursday nights downtown Oceanside did a street party and had food tents and fun things to look at and buy. We had such a great time we booked again and plan on booking every year. We've vacationed a lot of places and nothing beats a beach house vacation.
