«The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on ...

«Nice clean property. Everything you need. Ideal location short stroll to the seafront and town centre. If I had one small snag it would be to put in a downstairs toilet but this didn't spoil the stay.»

«Lovely stay in Amble at Jo’s property. The house was fab much bigger than it looks and great distance to lovely walks along the shore and round harbour and marina .Easy parking at house . Lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A great base to see more of the area too. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend»

«Clean and well presented overall with a good amount of space. The house was in the lovely quiet village of Kielder. We had a great stay and would recommend the property. A few small areas for improvement would be: there were beds for 6 people but the benches at the table were only big enough for 4 people to sit to eat so a couple of extra chairs for the end -maybe fold up ones -would have been great. «Very enjoyable stay with excellent views.The property is in an excellent position to walk to all ares of the town. We were able to park right outside the house due to the polite no parking notice in the window. Beds were comfortable along with clean and very fresh bedding and towels. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked with almost everything you could need to cook with. Worth noting is the fridge freezer and tumble dryer in the garden shed. «You get several automated emails/SMS, but it's not always clear which of them apply to you or not (myself non-Britain tourist). After coming-in the WiFi does not work, after rebooting the router and many emails with the resonsibles it was found that there was a misreading in the password; it would have been better if it's computer and not hand-written to get rid of such misunderstandings. «This is is a nice spacious place to stay easily walkable into the town centre. It had everything I needed. The basics like the kitchen, the heating etc all worked well. Parking was easy. All in all, really good place.»

The only negative was the bins, being told we would be fined 100 if we put the wrong rubbish in the wrong bins made me a bit paranoid. It would be helpful to have some physical information to hand rather than the email we received as different areas of the country recycle differently. «This cottage is a gem. Communication with host was easy and we always had a prompt reply. Check in also very easy. The cottage was warm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. There were fresh flowers,chocolates,fruit and wine plus milk bread etc. The location is quiet and peaceful with lovely views. Sue and Phil are great hosts and very helpful with info on great places to visit. We would definitely stay here again.»
