«I had booked a pet friendly room but got there and was informed I hadn't.
I had put it in the filters, it was the only motel that came up and I reserved the room.
On check in I was charged an additional ~$35 for the dog.
The room was clean, the bed and pillows great. Just not happy about that.»

«Our second time staying at Northern lights motel. This is an older motel, however they are always doing nice updates. The staff is so kind and sweet. The room is very clean. The room has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. A desk and a table and chairs as well as a Tv,books and cards. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of little cute touches like ear plugs and sewing kit. The ladies that will check you in is why you will go back, just so kind. Thank you for your kindness and we will see you ...

«The baseboard heaters weren’t turned on so we wound up using a small portable heater (that was provided). It eventually warmed up the room. Also noticed that there was no smoke detector in the room . . . Probably not a good idea when you’re running a portable electric heater. It was a place to sleep between 1000 km driving days and it worked for that. But I probably wouldn’t stay there again.»
