«We had a wonderful stay with our extended family for the holidays. The house was beautiful and spacious. The hosts were amazing! They really thought of every little thing and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Checking in was very easy and the communication with the hosts was fantastic. «I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to ...

«The property is some distance away from the highway. We were aware of that and enjoyed the peace and quiet the location offered. Property is very nice both inside and out. Easy contact with owner. Reported we could not get the outside grill to light but this did not create an issue for us.»

«The Cabin was not very clean. The floors looked like they have not been mopped in some time. We still saw dried up spills on the wood floor that we cleaned up ourselves. In the upstairs bedroom the cobwebs were all over the walls and in the corners. I understand cobwebs are made fairly quickly but not like this. The lady bugs were a bit of a problem. «What a great spot to stay. The rental was clean, comfortable and spacious. Towels were supplied as well as linens and kitchen towels. The deck overlooking the lower section of houses and the lake was wonderful. There were rocking chairs and we spent a lot of time enjoying the view. Property is close to wineries, breweries, restaurants and hiking. It was a great long weekend. »

«My group of 8 had a great stay here at the Roosters Den on our ski trip. The house was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out with room for more. We took advantage of the hot tub as well as the pool table. We also utilized the kitchen daily and it was stocked up with any dish and cookware you would need. The view from the porches was awesome too. «Great communication with house owners, easy to access the house, kitchen equipped and living room great for relaxing and watch TV. Hot Tub with an external TV was a plus and really relaxing! 2 nice bedrooms and 1 full bathroom in the main floor, a pool table and kids space with another queen bed in the top floor. We will return for sure!»
