You are in the heart of the music scene on Frenchmen street where the best sounds of New Orleans play late into the night. Only steps away you have access to some of the City's finest local bars as well as jazz and brass band live music venues where the party regularly spills out into the street. If you want to stay in, you can easily hear the sidewalk musicians and people watch, from the private balcony overlooking both Decatur and Frenchmen Street.

Located in the Marigny, just one block from the French Quarter & two short blocks from the Mississippi River. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, explore the historic French Market or hop on a streetcar to Canal Street to visit Harrah's Casino, Canal Place & Riverwalk Malls, Aquarium, & numerous dining options.

The Marigny is known for its live event venues, parading in the streets, performers, restaurants, bars, & live music. Being on Frenchmen street, this newly updated apartment is in the heart of it all.

The Space:
A modern 2nd floor apartment with a wrap around balcony featuring an open concept Kitchen/Living Room design with a high ceiling & large windows, located on the corner of Decatur & Frenchmen Street. The 3bed/2ba condo offers a master suite with a Queen Bed & walk-in shower, two additional Queen Bedrooms overlooking Frenchmen street & a hall bathroom with walk-in shower. A Roku Smart TV is in each bedroom & the living room. The kitchen is equipped with cookware and dinnerware in case you prefer dining in. Adjacent to the kitchen is the bar & laundry room with a new front loading washer & dryer. Parking can be purchased within a fenced lot around the corner. Rates are about $20/day.

The building is three stories & composed of 5 rental units: 2 Studios, 2 one-bedrooms & a three-bedroom unit. A tattoo shop is on the first floor.

The Neighborhood:
The offbeat Marigny district is known for its Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs, especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a block party vibe to the nighttime Frenchmen Art Market, which sells local artwork and handicrafts. Quieter spots include Washington Square where the lawns are shaded by old oak trees. The Marigny Opera House offers an eclectic program.

I had a great time at the condo on Frenchmen St. The location is excellent if you like jazz and good food. The hosts were very accommodating to our needs and responded immediately. The condo itself was very clean, spacious and included a number of amenities. I will definitely return.

Loved the balcony for people watching! Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Bedrooms were comfortable. Noise machines helped drown out street noise at night. Great location and very walkable to the French Quarter.

What a great place! One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I wasn’t prepared for how loud it is to stay on this street at night but they provided white noise machines and that was super helpful.

The overall vibe and look of this place was perfect if you want to experience NO. It's in a great location to enjoy Frenchman Street while not being right in the middle of the noise. The jazz bar across the street and everything else right there make for a good time easily accessible. The only reason for less than 5 stars is the amount of homeless and drug activities, which isn't in property owners control, but should be noted for anyone staying. They were not aggressive or hostile.

The property was wonderful. Very updated. clean and a lot of amenities. The only issue was that there is a bar/music venue across the street from the Unit and the music was very loud which was a problem getting to sleep at night.

Convenient and clean, but not for early to bedders.

Everything, as far as the property, was first rate. But be warned: if you want to go to sleep before 3:00 am on Friday or Saturday night, you will need earplugs. The noise from Frenchman street is incredibly loud. Not just the bars, which wouldn’t be so bad, but the kids cruising by with ungodly loud sound systems.

this location was perfectly located, the view is STUNNING!!, and absolutely worth every penny for our gaycation stay we came in as a group of 4 needing 3 beds, and we all were not disappointed! upon check-in, this property was absolutely pristine, was able to access the balcony easily, and Im still blown away by the multiple levels of security during our stay

Great visit for our first trip to New Orleans

Great property, great location, great host. Beautiful property, fit my husband and I along with our 2 adult children and their partners comfortably. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Our host was excellent at communicating with us before, during and after our stay. Location on Frenchman St was awesome for listening to live music. Would recommend 100%!

Great location on Frenchmen St close to several clubs, the Decatur St markets, and a local brewery with nice food options. Entrance to unit is a little sketchy, but secured by coded locks. Outside street noise was quite loud most evenings during Jazz Fest.Accommodations were open and spacious for two couples. The unit needs a deep cleaning and dusting, more bath and kitchen towels, and functioning cookware for induction cooktop (only one large frying pan with a warped bottom that would not heat).

Great spot!

Our stay was awesome! The place is gorgeous and was stocked with all the things you might need. It is a pretty loud street with live music at night but they had sound machines and fans to help drownout the noise so we slept great! The balcony was amazing we hung out there every morning and night! We would definitely stay here again

Yearly couples get away

The 3bedroom apartment was lovely. Spacious enough for 6adults to feel comfortable. We were very close to good restaurants and the music venues were fun and unique. Walkable to the French Quarter. We parked on the street.. again no problem. Great place.

In the heart of the music scene with a private balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. The property was exceptionally clean, well equipped with everything we needed and perfectly located for exploring the French Quarter on foot. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay near the French Quarter. Keep in mind that the venues on Frenchman Street can be very loud into the wee hours of the morning so bring your earplugs! But it was great to be just steps from so many music venues. Also the private balcony was a real perk.

Delightful Stay within Walking Distance of Everything

With two adult children, wanted to stay near enough to the heart of things without being in the French Quarter. This beautiful apartment was perfect - our neighborhood was peaceful during the day and lively at night, and within walking distance of the Quarter as well as lovely restaurant and bar choices in the neighborhood. Craig was an excellent host and assisted with a last-minute request at check-in that made our first day there much easier.

Birthday Trip

We had a wonderful stay! All the excitement of Frenchman street is literally right out your door. Apartment is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. There was some noise from the street but that’s to be expected in that area. If you are looking for a quiet spot this is not it. Check in and out was easy. We parked in the gated lot behind the building and never had to drive our car the entire trip. We walked everywhere including the French Quarter & Bourbon St. Ubers were reasonable and quick too if needed. We were able to pull up in front of the door and unload quickly. The apartment was clean but some of the walls were scuffed up. Could use a paint job. There was tresemme shampoo/conditioner and dove body wash in both showers, Only 6 towels (1 for each person) so if you like more bring your own or be prepared to wash. There was also washing detergent and plenty of trash bags. The balcony was nice to have but felt a little uneasy to walk on. We didn’t spend much time out there. The patio furniture needs to be replaced. Some of the chairs had large holes in the seats. Over all we had an awesome visit and would certainly stay here again!

Fantastic Location - surrounded by live music and culture!

This place was perfect for our group. We had 5 people in our group and there was plenty of space. We loved hanging out on the balcony in the evening. The place was clean and modern on the inside; looked exactly like the photos! Protip: Frenchman street is LOUD until very early in the morning. There are white noise machines in each room but I suggest also bringing a set of ear plugs :)

Great location and apartment

Checkin was super easy. I appreciated the host reaching out to make sure we had what we needed. The apartment looked exactly like the photos on the listing and was really comfortable to hang out in after long days of touristing. Everything was easily accessible from the music clubs, to the French market to the street car line. The street noise was expected given the location but not too bad. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.it was nice to have the kitchen to heat leftovers at.
