Velkommen til 3rd Ave South i Wedgewood Houston!

Vårt hjem er i et rolig nabolag, ligger innen lett gangavstand fra de uformelle og fine dining spisesteder, barer, kaffebarer, bryggerier og destillerier av Wedgewood Houston. Vi er beleilig plassert 5-10 minutter fra sentrum av Nashville med bil og 1. 3 miles unna lavere Broadway. Du kan enkelt oppleve alle legendariske honky tonks uten all støy. Du kan også nyte parken rett over gaten.

Vårt hjem var designet med bevisst omsorg og komforten til våre gjester i tankene. Du får tilgang til hele et nivå på 1200 m². Huset tilbyr rikelig med naturlig sollys, høye tak og en ren åpen plass. Hvert rom er innredet med takvifte, rikelig med skap og et speil i full lengde. Kjøkkenet er fylt med de grunnleggende fasilitetene som trengs for kaffe og matlaging. Vaskemaskin og tørketrommel er tilgjengelig for gjestenes bruk.

Døren drives med en personlig tilgangskode. Du kan velge den firesifrede koden du liker. Huset er utstyrt med en smart TV, Apple TV, og et Amazon Echo.

Rikelig gateparkering er tilgjengelig langs gaten rett utenfor døren.

We did not receive instruction on how to enter the building until i had to call the host. There was a broken shelf, which is fine things happen but the vacuum didnt work. The washing machine didnt work, so we couldn't wash the dirty towels which were left behind the door. The place was not clean, dirty stained rug, no rug in the front entry just the under part that keeps the rug from moving, dirty trim, big dust balls in the corners of rooms and behind the bed room door, sink. No amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee which said they would have. The worst part was there was no hot water which is why I gave this place two stars. The place needs work. It is not to the Vrbo standards. The person runs the place did respond when i reached out about the hot water, but and was never fixed. The location is good and there is a nice coffee shop/cocktail bar within a 4 minute walk called Babu.

I feel like the communication with the owner could have been better. I had to reach out to him for the entry code. When we arrived the outside walkway and porch were so so dark. We had to use our phones to light up the area. The outside is very overgrown. A wire was laying across the walkway. There is not a deadbolt on the back door which was concerning. The backyard was total disarray. The washing machine did not work. There was a sign on it stating so, luckily we did not need to use it. It would have been nice to know prior to arrival. I'm a pretty understanding person. The shower water was extremely hot or cold. (I did not reach out to the owner, I just expected this to work.) The home itself is cute. It needs a good cleaning and some new window blinds. If I would have looked prior to pulling off the linens, I would have asked for a refund. The beds and pillows were gross. With some work this place has potential.

1 Star – Horrible Experience, Unsafe and Unclean PropertyOur stay at this Vrbo rental in Nashville, TN was extremely disappointing and honestly unsafe. From the moment we arrived, the home was in terrible condition — and several things did not work as described.1. No Hot Water – Error E1 Every TimeThe hot water heater would not stay on and constantly showed an E1 error code, shutting off within two minutes. The host admitted that this same issue had been reported by other guests before and told us to “power cycle” the unit ourselves — something we were not comfortable doing since it’s a gas appliance. Having no reliable hot water made the home uninhabitable, especially for a paid rental.2. Disgusting, Unclean HomeThe home was dirty and had visible mold inside the refrigerator, which is completely unacceptable. The property itself and the outside area were filthy and poorly maintained, giving the impression that it hasn’t been properly cleaned or cared for in a long time.3. Electrical and Appliance Problems•Lights flickered constantly, creating a very uncomfortable and unsafe environment.•The TV would randomly turn off, and even the host couldn’t explain why.•The washing machine was broken, and the sink knob barely worked.4. Poor Host ResponseWhile the host did respond to messages, they downplayed every issue, implying that the problems were minor or “normal.”

It was really clean and comfy. Plenty of space and games! We really appreciated the amount of toilet paper and paper towels. I wish it had salt, pepper, and Tupperware or containers for leftovers but I know sometimes that stuff gets taken. It was a great place close to everything!

The rooms were cleaned but the washer was not working. The outside can be cleaned up. If the fence in the backyard was fixed, deck fixed that area would be nice to sit on. The kitchen sink faucet handle was broken but was still able to turn it on. The ice maker did not work but the water worked from the refrigerator. We had a hard time figuring out how the TV worked. The outside needed some work. Inside was very cute and modern.

Loved this little house! Nicely decorated, very welcoming. Good location, close to downtown, but not in downtown. No crowd, very quiet. The host was communicative & helpful with local recommendations. Super comfortable mattresses. Nice sized rooms. Only downsides were the washer was not usable, the hot water takes a bit to warm up, & the backyard has been neglected. But, even with those minor things, we plan to stay there again soon. We had an excellent stay.

We should've left as soon as we realized the overgrown grass/weeds/trees were used to disguise the rundown house and sketchy neighborhood. The stairs were breaking and had an electric wire running across them and the sidewalk making the entire entrance a hazard. Inside the smell of mildew, scuffs on the walls and dust in corners made it clear there was not much clean up in between guests. The entire listing was misleading or false. The one bed was on the floor not on a frame as pictured and there were no toiletries provided except the empty bottles from the last guest. The dish soap and hand soap provided were the same liquid but were neither dish soap or hand soap. The ad states it is ready for 6 , but there were not enough towels for 4 and no way to wash what was provided because the washer we paid to use was broken. The kitchen was supposed to be furnished for use, but there were only 3 forks total. We also paid for a private back yard which was unavailable due to a fallen tree covering the yard, furniture, and the roof. At the very least it was a false advertisement and at worst a fire hazard. The host made no effort to let us know about any of the changes/ommissions. The AC was broken or remotely accessed and would be raised to nearly 80 degrees everytime we turned around. The TV remote worked when it wanted. We tried to text the host to see what needed to be done upon checkout and never heard from him. We will never be back and would not recommend.

We did not feel safe in this home. The back door had no dead bolt, only a questionable lock. No outdoor lighting and just 2 blocks away were coiled barbed wire on the tops of fences. We contacted the host and never heard back from him/her. My main complaint is the lack of communication from the host. There were other factors that felt the place was not described accurately for example no table and chairs to eat from.

Toilet not bolted to the floor and moved significantly. Host said he would send a plumber to fix it the next day. Mold smellListing states there is an outdoor space, outdoor furniture, and a garden available; was inaccessible due to two large trees fallen across most of the backyard space. Host said he wasn't aware.Backyard only locked from the outside, not the inside - dangerous for the toddlers with us. In previous reviews host said it would be addressed. Listing says washer/dryer available, but washer doesn't work.Several hairs on the sheets and pillow cases. Host said the sheets were clean and that it could be the cleaner's hair.Stained mattresses, no mattress protectors. Host said he couldn't get us any until the night before we left. He suggested we use another sheet, which also were not clean. One bed just on a box spring on the floorRug in the room stainedKitchen sink handle broken offHost was responsive. Concerning that no one noticed these things before having paying guests stay here. Offered to have plumber come and look at the toilet/sink, but would've had to worry about someone in the house with our stuff. Disappointing given that we really liked the space. Mostly using house as a place to sleep so we were uncomfortable with the dirty mattress/bedding. Asked for a refund for the almost 1000 we paid and were told by the host that we would not be issued one. Stayed at a hotel instead. Wish we could upload more pics

Check in was easy and communication was easy with host. Towels were nice and location was easy to get around the city with a rental car. Otherwise not impressed. The dishes were dirty (had to wash them myself before and after using them - crumbs and stains on them), multiple stains on floor and bed, amenities that were stated to be available were not there (shampoo, coffee, salt). Washer and dryer broken. We went to use the ice maker and these chunks of unknown material came out (see photos).

HORRIBLE.HUGE SAFETY CONCERN FIR FEMALES.The park across the street had several homeless people living there, 2 approached us at our car adking fir cold drinks and cash.1 man was sitting in a lawn chair watching us, within a few minutes there were 5 in lawn chairs pointed at us watching.The back door, even when locked was easily pushed open as it had no deadbolt.No washer, it wasn't working.No outdoor space as a huge tree had fallen in the back and taken down the privacy fence. The tree was still in the yard.Dirty dishes in the sink.The owner was NOT responding to myself or VRBO when I called.If you value your life, do NOT stay here.I will be filing a complaint with the BBB for allowing such a safety concern.We left within 15 minutes fir a proper hotel.

Disappointing Stay Despite Nice PhotosWhile the images of the property looked great, our actual stay was far from it. Upon arrival, we were greeted by random individuals loitering outside the home, drinking and blasting music well into the night. We booked this home for a baseball event and specifically needed access to a washer and dryer, but the washer was broken — and had clearly been broken for some time despite the listing stating otherwise.After contacting the owner, he claimed it had just broken, but we found a note under the linens indicating otherwise. Past reviews also mentioned the same issue, showing a pattern of neglect. I reported the problem to VRBO, but unfortunately, nothing was done. VRBO attempted to reach the owner for a resolution or reimbursement, but he never responded.Additionally, the bathtub was dirty, a sewer smell lingered throughout the home, and the toilet was unstable and shifted when used. Overall, I would not recommend this property — and based on how this situation was handled, I will not be using VRBO again.

Great location

The home is a small 2 bedroom home with spacious rooms with comfortable kitchen and living rooms to spread out in. The kitchen is stocked. Bring paper towels, dish towels& garbage bags. A small table to eat at would be nice somewhere. The bathroom has plenty of space too. You should bring your own shampoo and soaps as the ones there were used by other guests. The toilet was loose and not connected to the floor well but still functional. There was a washer and dryer (not sure if they worked) however we did not use them. Bring you own detergent. The street parking shares parking with the park located across the street. Sometimes people sit in their cars in front of the park. The neighborhood sounds like it's an up and coming area with a few newer updated apartments, restaurants and coffee shops. It is an older area with some homes/businesses boarded up for the changes. The drive to downtown is less than 10 min. The home's entrance could use a little sprucing up for more of an inviting feel (steps sunken chipped paint, etc.) Communications with Shaun was great!

Clean, comfortable, close to downtown

The house was overall clean and had the basic necessities for a short stay. I’m not a fan of street parking but we didn’t have any issues. The park is nice and the area was overall pretty quiet.
