Comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting

Charming cottage in the picturesque conservation village of Wicken. Gated access and secure parking.
Great location for: Silverstone, MK, Buckingham, Bicester village, Bletchley Park, Waddesdon and Stowe.
This characterful cottage is attached to a period family home with over 4 acres of fields & garden. Chickens, cats and family dog roam freely, often with sheep and ponies in the field. The village boasts a dog friendly pub which serves good food.
Recently renovated to a very high standard.

There is a large open plan living and dining area with a TV, HETAS wood burning stove and plenty of board games and books.
The kitchen is well equipped. The room opposite can be used as an additional bedroom with a double sofa bed, or as a study. There is a private outdoor eating area outside the cottage.
Upstairs there is a king sized bed with a sofa and plenty of clothes storage. The twin room also has a chest of drawers and wardrobe.
White Company towels and bed linen is provided.
A large shared bathroom is on this floor which has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
WIFI is available throughout the cottage.

The cottage and adjacent manor house are accessed via electric gates and a private drive. Cars can be parked on the gravel directly outside the cottage. We have a key safe for ease but if we are home we will always come and say hello.
We are 8 miles from Silverstone circuit, 9 miles from central Milton Keynes.
With advance notice we are happy to provide breakfast supplies of our own pressed apple juice, eggs from our chickens (assuming they aren't on strike!), bread from the local bakery, cereal, milk and jam (price dependent on number of guests and length of stay).

When possible we are happy to offer late check-out.

The cottage is attached to our family home. We respect our guests' privacy during their stay, and we ask our children to do the same. While the family is at home we respectfully ask that guests use the cottage garden and facilities.
