«The unit I stayed in, was perfect in every way for me. I needed a time out, for a few days, in a beautiful setting, and my expectations, were met. The location, is perfect, I felt very comfortable, ordering food, or driving to pick something up. Everything, from the beach, shops, food, etc, is nearby. «We loved how close we were to the beach. It was beautiful, so nice. We loved that we weren't near the major public beaches and were more secluded. «We chose this rental because it was advertised as being 250 steps to a private beach. The property itself was clean, keyless entry was awesome and it was well equipped. There was only one problem. We weren’t able to find the beach access. We contacted the owner, they told us we needed to walk down the road until we came to a blue building on the right and a stockade fence on the left. «The location proximity to the beach was perfect. You can see the gulf from your lanai. Owners of other units were very friendly, and the beach was never crowded. The unit was well supplied and had extra blankets/sheets, bath/hand towels and washcloths. We hope to stay again soon.»

«Starfish Stays accommodated my husband and myself comfortably. Couch & tv for him to watch his news and read his paper. Chair outside by door for me to sip coffee. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom was just right. Loved using my phone to lock & unlock door. Easy walk across street to access beach. Appreciated having coffee available to get through our first morning upon arrival! «Our stay at starfish stays was exactly what we needed to start summer off. Manasota key is a beautiful community. The accommodations were amazing and just fed the beach vibe we needed. «Original description made it sound like the pool was in close proximity to the unit along with being able to watch the sunrise. Not so. While the walk and crossing the street to get to the pool was not a huge distance, it was further than we wanted to walk. The Gulf was beautiful, the sand was HOT and rough walking on it barefoot. All in all we had a wonderful time. Weather cooperated and we returned home to a 25° temperature difference. We are already talking about next year.»
