«while the weather was beyond anyone’s control, I had such a cozy stay and was perfect for the R&R that I needed. «Het bovenhuis biedt een prachtig uitzichr op de oceaan aan de noordzijde van Madeira. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis voor zowel bezoek aan het westen ( pont Moniz ) of naar het oosten (Santana, en diverse wandel gebieden aldaar). Ponte delgado heeft een supermarktje en een benzinepomp. Leuk zijn de natuurlijke zwembaden in Seixal en Pont Moniz . De huiseigenaar Maria is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
