«The House on Chase Creek is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’ve been telling him about Shelter Island literally for almost 40 years. Well we finally made it and the trip, the home, the welcoming of my dog, was all so just so welcoming and nice. «I lived in Summit for 40 years and only stayed here after moving away. This is a charming converted multi-story home, very old-school in its bones, but updated for wifi, chargers, etc. Nicely appointed, two quiet blocks from downtown Summit. Real staff on site--not a tie-line to some national headquarters. Staff goes home at 6 but is close by and available by phone if needed. «The room was great. The owner apologized for being late even though I was early. Also I had a nose bleed on my part and he made sure I was ok. I enjoyed my stay it was peaceful. All I ask is just change the shower head!!! Lol... But my stay was overall great »
