Fine rom. Bra beliggenhet. Mer 4-stjerner enn 5.
Små, men fine og praktiske rom. Pluss for et eget "pantry" i etasjen med gratis te, kaffe, kaker og diverse. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Veldig god frokost. Anbefales! Ellers ligger hotellet vegg i vegg med Kings Cross togstasjon, og under ti minutters gange til Euston Road tog og t-banestasjon. De har isolert rommene godt, så det var nærmest fritt for lyder og støy. Litt dyrere enn hva man får for pengene, men alt i alt en god opplevelse.

Vanskelig å finne inngangen
Vi valgte dette hotellet fordi vi skulle reise med toget til Paris en av dagene. Avgangen var svært tidlig, og vi valgte å bo nært stasjonen. Det kostet litt, men for et fantastisk hotell! Når vi først fant inngangen, da. Det var nemlig mange dører, og ikke opplagt hva som var hovedinngangen, så vi endte med å gå rundt og rundt bygget, før vi endelig fant fram. Vi ankom litt tidlig første dagen, og regnet med at vi måtte sette inn bagasjen og komme tilbake for å få rom senere. Hyggelige resepsjonister ga oss rom med en gang, og til og med oppgradering til et større rom uten noe grunn, og vi ble svært vennlig stemt. Vi hadde betalt for frokosten, hvis vi skulle ha betalt for den på stedet hadde det ikke vært verdt det, høyt prisnivå. Kaffemaskin, badekåper, tøfler og greie såper på rommet. Sengen var stor, men litt hard, og irriterende at engelskmennene ofte kun har dobbeltdyne. Vi ba om en ekstra dyne, og fikk det med en gang. Kaffe, te og kake tilgjengelig i et lite tekjøkken. Det vi trengte av service var upåklagelig. Et flott hotell som jeg godt kan anbefale, hvis man har råd til det.

Excellent Hotel if onward travel by train as could not be handier for Eurostar or Kings Cross. We have used a number of times.

There was no tea making facility in the bedroom.i had to walk to the antry area.Meant I could not enjoy morning tea in bed as I had to get dressed. Provide a small kettle and tea bags along with the coffee maker, or make the coffee drinkers walk to the pantry.Even cheap hotels have tea making facilities.Pillows were too soft.

My second visit in a short space of time, and this was definitely the better of the two. While the rooms are generally pretty small they're clean and comfortable and it doesn't take long for this hotel to start to feel like an old friend. The soap dispensers remain maddening though.

Das Hotel ist direkt an den Bahnhöfen King's Cross und St.Pancras gelegen und eignet sich perfekt wenn man mit dem Zug nach London angekommen ist. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und im Haus gibts eine Bar und ein Restaurant. Alles weitere von London ist via Zug, Bus und Tube gut angebunden.

Great location, comfy beds, great staff. We strangely were given a disabled room so our shower had no door so water got everywhere in the bathroom. That was a little strange. And there were several emergency cords in every room you had to be careful to avoid. But being at King’s cross it was super convenient and I would stay there again.

I enjoyed staying in the hotel. It is actually right next store to the domestic train station, so it was super convenient. And in front of the hotel and train station is a major area, where people sit and pass through. I most enjoyed just watching Londoners. London is so diverse. Impressive!

The rooms are on the small side (not unusual for big city hotels), but the room was lovely. It's a very short walk to Coal Drop Yards (with all the restaurants and shopping) and being next to a transport hub (St. Pancras/King's Cross) means that you can get almost anywhere quickly via Tube or trains of various sorts. Every staff member we interacted with was lovely -- helpful, courteous and charming. This was a wonderful (and wonderfully convenient) place to stay!

Great hotel if arriving at Kings Cross for a concert in Camden and a 1 night stay. Room was small but fancy. TV didn’t work as a TV which was annoying but did connect to Bluetooth device for some playlist tunes. English breakfast was tremendous in a posh restaurant setting. Apart from TV fault only thing can mark down is terrible Muzak in the bar and restaurant!

Check in perfect. Welcoming. Easy. We arrived early - and there was no issue in getting our room - or if we wanted to leave our luggage. Breakfast was right up there as well - the staff again - super attentive and couldn't do enough for you.

Remains a delight
Remains a firm favourite, perfect location for travelling by train and getting around London. The facilities are great and the staff very friendly and organised, really can’t have any complaints. We stayed the week before Christmas so could ´hear’ the sounds of the neighbourhood and parties a little more than usual if that is a factor for you but I would not trade the location for that.

Nice room. No hot water. No refund.
No hot water on a Sunday morning when I needed to take a shower. Didn’t offer a refund but just a free breakfast. Also got the handicapped room. I would have preferred a regular one or been asked if I wanted a handicap room.

Not ideal for business or couples
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well located next to the train station. However, the room was very small, too small for a couple with low ceilings. Whilst the description stated that it had a business center it did not. There was no room in the bedroom to work, and the lounge was not ideal as they had no proper space or tables. Not a suitable hotel for business people. They did had a coffee machine in the room which I love, but it didn’t work. They did not offer tea, and there was only two small milks so not enough for more than one drink. Strangely even though we were a couple they only had one biscuit seems a strange place to scrimp on. The soaps and shower gels etc were very good with a lovely smell. The bathroom had a fantastic shower. They offer beautiful bathrobes. I would recommend they look at the towels however as there wasn’t one I could use for my hair. The receptionists were young and inexperienced. They offered a basic level of service. Overall, for the price, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for business.

I liked it’s proximity to the train station, unfortunately St. Pancras/Kings Cross attracts some undesirables but as long as you’re not wandering round there in the early hours of the morning it’s manageable

Dieses Hotel hat einen nostalgischen Charm.Es hebt sich aus der Masse der anderen Londoner Hotels hervor.Die Inneneinrichtung besteht aus Holz-was schon Wärme und Behaglichkeit erzeugt.Top zentral-Kings Cross.Obwohl da,im Zimmer hat man davon nichts gehört.Das gesamte Hotel war sehr ruhig.Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 1 King Bett.Etwas klein um all unsere Sachen zu verstauen.Aber das Zimmer war trotzdem behaglich.Enziges Manko -Teppich zeigte schon deutliche Gebrauchsspuren.Wir hatten Englisches Frühstück ,d.h. Frühstück à la Carte.Es war sehr gut.Der Frühstücksraum sehr behaglich und die Bedienung ist sehr nett,zuvorkommend gewesen.Fazit-vom Einchecken bis zum Auschecken ist es eine schöne Zeit in diesem Hotel gewesen.
