«Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.»

«The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. »

«The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.»

«A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!»

«This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.»

«The accommodation was to a high standard and very comfortable with stunning views. Lismore is a wonderful, tranquil island, rich in wildlife and beautiful scenery. Otters and seals spotted daily from the accommodation. Mother otter and pup seen at Point and Port Ramsay during the day. Loved watching the nesting birds and geese with small goslings. Hope to be back.»

«A great property in a fabulous location and very well equipped too. Andrew was extremely helpful and responsive and we were made to feel welcome and valued. Red deer stags walking past your front door, a sighting of a pine marten, eagles soaring overhead and an otter swimming in the mirror like water. A little taste of paradise!»

«You could stay on that balcony for ages , a stunning ever changing vista! When the weather is wild the views are still fabulous and moody. The dining room a stunning setting for a small family celebration and the well equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. Very comfortable house & we enjoyed the family table tennis competition! «Perfect place to stay. Excellent location, walking distance from everything including ferry and train station. Apartment has all amenities so you can cook and eat in, but is also very close to tons of restaurants etc. (including right next door). Nicely decorated place as well. Everything was clean and comfortable.»

«We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. »
