ÂŤThe property is gorgeous; lots of area to walk around and for the kids to play, they had fantastic communication, everything was clean love that they had double mattress protectors! Friendly and loved learning about the history of the area and house. One of our new favorite places to stay in Leakey. It was close to Garner State Park and not far from lost Maples. We had a blast and will come back again!Âť

ÂŤThis place has potential, but also has some issues.1) It was not clean when we arrived. The owner quickly rectified this but caused a delay in our check-in and left a gross feeling in the house knowing how it was essentially speed cleaned in an hour.2) the pool is pretty bad...old, flaky bottom that was peeling off in multiple places. It was also very cloudy when we arrived.3) The kitchen is one of the worst stocked I've rented...dull knives, disorganized, just badÂť
