"Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Don't get me wrong, the property is very nice amd historic and the gardens are well kept. However the main functions that the hotel should provide are more of a 6/10 for me. The bed was incredibly hard and V-shaped in the middle. Maybe the bed is 500 ..."

"Beautiful guesthouse! Kitchen had everything we needed. Bigger bath towels would have been better. Difficult to communicate with the landlords as they had no English and I had very little italian"

"We had a Family appartment in one of the old villas, no air conditioning. I would guess that about 80% of guests were Dutch. Pool were a bit overcrowded, restaurants were quite good, although prices were quite high."
