«客室、ロビーともに清潔で気持ちがよかったです。スタッフの方とコンタクトがあったのは、チェックイン、ツアー、朝食の3回で全員担当者さんが違いましたがコミュニケーションが取りやすく距離感が適度で心地よかったです。商店街を利用してほしいとのメッセージをお聞きしたときに、ただ宿として存在しているのではなく、周囲の町と一緒にあるコンセプトの芯が通っていると感じました。»

«Quarto maravilhoso, estilo japonês, grande e confortável. A localização deixa um pouco a desejar, meio afastado. O horários do check in a partir das 16hs e principalmente o de check out as 10 hs ,me desagradou.»

«Wonderful experience.»

«Me and my partner missed the shinkansen and the bus that was going to take us to the hotel, so we got even more behind our schedule of our check-in time. We told the staff beforehand and apologized, they were extremely understanding of our situation. When we got there, we were welcomed with warm smiles and helpful information of our accomodation and they even gave us some snacks after our long travel. »

«Upon entering through the sliding glass doors you are transported back hundreds of years to a time long past, as you are greeted with a meticulously detailed reception area, and the kindest and most accomodating staff I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. While checking in we were informed of all relevant houserules, before being lead to our wonderfully decorated room. «Hyggelig hotell i en veldig fin del av Kyoto. Fint, stort og ryddig rom for en familie på fire.»

«Rent, vennlig, sentralt»

«Sowaka was amazing. Great location, beautiful hotel, incredible food, perfect staff! Do take the 5:45 am tour to Kiyomizu-dera with the incredibly knowledgeable hotel manager. A wonderful and unique experience without all the tourists around.»

«We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit outside the city area and therefore very quite but still in walking distance. The rooms are quite small but it’s similar to other places we have stayed in Japan. What is outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were on our honeymoon and they even decorated our room which was super nice»

«The room felt spacious relative to other hotels we visited in Japan, and everything was clean. They supplied all the standard amenities for our stay. The only drawback was the lack of daily room cleaning and a laundry room; however, they replaced our towels everyday, and also shared details about a laundromat three minutes away from the hotel. The staff were very kind and assisted with forwarding our luggage to our next stop.»

«Steal of a deal for this spacious room. Hotel was spotless. Location was great as well.»

«Incredibile experience of staying in a traditional ryokan. Very calm/peaceful atmosphere and the most lovely staff. Our room had everything we needed however, no coffee machine. There was a cafe nearby though, and breakfast was delicious and included coffee.»

«とても清潔でした。 お風呂が独立してゆっくりできましたし、とても便利な立地でした。 特にフロントの方の助けが必要なことはありませんでしたが、少し私語が多いのが気になりました。»

«Excellent service by the hotel during our stay. Highly recommend »

«Great location»

«I would highly recommend to book the room with own bath. It was awesome! Delicious dessert everyday.»
