The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when you first arrive and check in, if you have never stayed at the resort or its sister resorts before, you will be forced into a timeshare presentation that they say isn’t a timeshare presentation. Trust me, it is. It took up almost 5 hours of our first day there. Ruined the morning and afternoon and tbh made me and my partner feel uncomfortable. We were told by other guests later on that they got out of those presentations by telling the workers they had filed for bankruptcy and couldn’t afford it- so that’s my recommendation to anyone visiting for the first time.We loved Sumtoris hibachi, and the Mexican restaurant La Adelita. Our butler Randy was great and super helpful. Jean Carlos and Julio also helped us out with our excursions and airport transportation- both men were super helpful and kind. If you have the opportunity to see the show “chic cabaret” I would. It was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Everyone did an amazing job. I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking to relax and unwind. One last thing- we were told on Expedia it was an “adults only” resort. That is not the case, the property has 4 other hotels on it apparently and they are children friendly so when you went to the restaurants or walking around - you will be around kids. Didn’t like that misleading “adults only” point, when it’s not adults only. It was mildly surprising
