«The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku.

«The room was everything I dreamed of having in an Onsen. It was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean.
We chose the room with the western beds and found it quite comfortable and very spacious.
The staff was extremely helpful. Spoke English well, and the food was amazing. The presentation of both our breakfast and dinner was a beautiful display of Japanese aesthetics.
We loved the mineral bath, and we love the fact that we had an indoor and an outdoor mineral pool.»
