«My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Hibernation Station. The location was perfect for our day trips. It is not luxurious but served us well. The owners were friendly and helpful. The lady cleaning rooms was very nice too. We could get extra supplies on our own or ask her or owners. I liked the locks on the doors. They could use some new mattresses and towels. «What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!»

«We had an awesome stay in Homer at the Pioneer Inn. The room perfectly suited our needs and Lila & Paula were amazing. Very responsive to questions and checking in to assure our stay was satisfactory. Also, I tweeked my knee, because you know, walking is hard :). They drove me to the medical center to get it checked out, and came back to pick me up afterward. They also helped me to find a knee brace in town. I would definitely stay at the Pioneer Inn when in Homer again.»

«This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal.»

«The location was excellent just being out of town for quietness and close enough for convenience. The cabin was nice and big with a regular size table so there was room for my laptop and my hubby’s solitaire. Bed was super comfortable.»

«Arrived after an evening cruise-so around 10p, room was ready & entry was easy to find. Staff was helpful to show the way around & paper labeling info made it easy. my bed had a curtain through stairs but right below the kitchen. most people were asleep but there are no quiet hours & some people were speaking where you could hear until after midnight.
