«I waited so long to visit the spit and Land’s End did not disappoint. It was everything I thought it would be. We enjoyed a beautiful room with an ocean view right on the beach. It was a treat to watch the fishing and charter boats leave in the morning as they pass by the window. Stayed for two nights to go on a Bear Viewing Tour and then of course needed to do some shopping. Everything was provided for our needs and comfort and there was no need to ask for more. Great place to stay!!»

«This place is a hoot. Each "room" is actually just a small stand-alone structure: mine was a small cabin and the guy next to me was staying in one of those old '50s trailers. Bathrooms and showers are good; can either use the ones outside the main house or those inside. Really fun place. Only a few minutes north of town. Okay to cook your own food in the main house, which has 2 kitchens. Good choice to stay there as long as you don't need a big room.»

«The cabin was very clean. The check-in smooth and friendly. Plenty of parking. The cabin was well equipped. The heater worked great. The only thing that wasn’t appealing was the outside view of this one particular cabin. The others were probably fine. I’d still stay in this same one though especially for mainly a good nights sleep.»

«We had a day of king salmon fishing planned in the area, so we decided to stay in Soldotna for the night. We paid $234 for a double queen room. The room had several issues. The air conditioner rattled throughout the night, one of the mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and the door was difficult to close properly. On the positive side, the room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff accommodated an early check-in, which we appreciated. Would I stay here again? Probably not ...

«While the outside looks worn the rooms are very nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are also comfortable. For fishermen there is easy access to the Kenai river with cleaning stations if you get lucky.»

«Post reservation processing by Expedia is flawed. Selection of Soldotna Inn as destination resulted in room at Soldotna Lodge, 5 miles remote from Soldotna. Check-in requirement sent to me stated that photo id upload prior to arrival was required, however there was no provision to do that. Calling the facility revealed that there is no check-in desk at the Soldotna Lodge. Visitors must go to Soldotna Inn to check-in. Soldotna Inn does not have staff on duty after 11 PM, however there is a ...
