«Very nice place, and Princeville is lovely! When planning for meals note that while there is technically everything you need to cook, it is not a full kitchen with an oven or stove. The host was great, quick to respond, and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay!»

«Accurate description of studio apartment. Pool on site and fun. Everything was working. Kept it clean without bugs. Kitchen stocked just enough to handle meals for 4. They had detergent , oil, and salt and pepper there for use. It was a king sized bed, couch, and they had a blow up mattress for use. On first search, I couldn't find bedding other than a thick comforter for the blow up bed, and I also couldn't find how to blow it up, so we just slept on the big bed and the couch. «We absolutely loved our stay at Cameron's place - Nestled in a chill resort area and easy access to a walking path to both nearby Shipwreck and Poipu beach areas (my fav part). Didn't use the pool or hot tub, but took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrellas provided. Thanks Cameron! Hope we get to visit again soon!»

«Fantastic location, comfortable unit, and great support from the host. Relaxing balcony with beautiful views. The kitchenette is useful for breakfast and snacks, but if you want to cook full meals with a range or oven you'll need a different spot. But again, kitchenette is great if you plan to eat out mostly and just do light meal prep now and then.»

«This is a terrific ground level studio unit next to the parking. It is well maintained. The host was very responsive when we had a small issue with the shower head and he replaced it with an amazing unit you will enjoy. Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) has been a special vacation place for us for nearly 40 years. While the Bali Hai restaurant is not up and running again, they do serve pizza which was pretty good. For some reason the jets in the HBR hot tub were not operating.»

«This was a great space to have while on Kauai. Close to so much, right across the street from the athletic club, whose pool was clutch with our 4 year old! We loved being on the ground floor to just walk right out on the grass. The AC was helpful just to shut out the noise of the roosters at 3am but other than that, it wasn’t needed it was nice and cool with fresh air flowing through. Jill was a wonderful host and we would certainly rent from her again! Mahalo Jill!»

«Gorgeous views — more impressive than the photos. Excellent location. Can walk 5-8 minutes down the hill to a very quiet and dreamy beach. The room itself, as others have noted, could use some upgrades. Lots of scuffs along walls and baseboards, lumpy pillows, wobbly end tables, mid-range amenities (towels, soaps, etc.). Also, this is a connecting room, which means you really can hear everything from the neighbors if they are speaking above a whisper. We were lucky with most neighbors, but for a ...

8/10 Bra
"The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which affected the overall experience. The property itself is lovely, but extending the evening offerings and improving the bar service would make a big difference."
