John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum

Wet nice cozy comfortable stay! The double balcony/rooftops were amazing. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Booked hotel back in December and paid more then normal due to it being a weekend and major concert being in town. A 3 weeks before check-in, I reached out to property to request an early check-in. Property acknowledged. Check-in is at 4, got to the property at 3:25. Was told room was not ready, they are at capacity and we are first in the “queue” to have our room cleaned. 4:30, room is still not available, told that it will be about another 45-60 mins. When questioned why it is taking so long, was told they have a program that allows American Express card holders to check out at 4 and that it what is taking so long. We didn’t get into our room until 5:30 and had a concert to be to at the Linc. For the price you pay, there is NO reason to wait as long as we did. We were not the only people complaining and waiting. If I did not book the hotel so far in advance, request an early check-in, and didn’t have some where to be, I would understand. Nothing was offered to compensate and front desk employees seemed frustrated with the situation. They knew making people wait was not ok. Very disappointing. So much so, as beautiful and convenient the location is….. I will never stay again or recommend,
