«Eoin met us at the drive as the cottar is tucked away. He then proceeded to give us his family background and ideas for visiting. There was a stocked kitchen complete with wine and crackers and a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The inside is a lot bigger than pictures do it justice and we enjoyed unplugging from life for a few days. The location of the cottar is very convenient to the co op, restaurants and anywhere in the island. Honestly, it was heaven!»

«This home was a wonderful spot for 5 adults and 1 infant to stay while exploring Skye. We really appreciated the 3 bathrooms and the central location to explore the area. The kitchen is fabulous, everything you could want to prepare food to eat in or to take on a picnic. We took the owners advice and stocked up on groceries when we passed through Portree. «Arriving at this property, it looked like a construction zone. We hardly had room to turn in to be off the street. When I called, the property manager met us and informed us that the deck was being redone which should have been finished when we arrived, but obviously wasn't. She assured us that we would not be bothered and honestly, we were not bothered in the least after we settled in. We still should have been advised of the project prior to arriving. «We stayed for three nights at this amazing cottage and loved every minute. The house has a quaint atmosphere, but all the modern amenities was very clean. It’s only 15 minutes from Portree so we ate out one night and cooked in for tonight. Fridge was large, and the kitchen was equipped with, most of the basics we needed. Owner was very easy to communicate with and provided all the details we needed in advance as well as having additional information available at the residence. The house was very comfortable and charming. It is in a great location for views over the city and a close walk to the grocery store, town, and dock. Street parking was no issue for us.
