«We had a great stay and the location was very close to Oban which was convenient. However the kitchen was very lowly stocked. Generally with our previous experience with vrbo, there was at least some oil for cooking, which was not the case here. Also, the toilets work very poorly and required flushing 3+ times for even a minimal amount of toilet paper which was a bit stressful.»

«The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.»

«Short drive to Oban where you can explore all the islands via the ferry. Perfect location. The view from the place was incredible and the place itself was spacious, clean, perfect really. Highly recommend it without any hesitation!»

«A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!»

«The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. »

«As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.»

«This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.»

«A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before.»
