Vinjani belonged to Venice after Venetian-Turkish wars. In 1747. Vinjani was declared as independent parish. Nearest larger town is Imotski. You can visit its attractions Red and Blue lakes. In Imotski you will also find restaurants, cafes, stores, pharmacy, banks, post office and everything you might need during your stay.
