Inscribed with 'BB 18' (Bexhill Borough). At the time of the incorporation of Bexhill Borough in 1902, the boundary was marked out by 63 large stones placed along the perimeter from Normans Bay on the west, through Lunsford Cross on the north of the town and Glyne Gap on the east, also the Hastings county borough boundary.

Totts Marsh The name of the field according to the 1843 tithe map and part of Hooe Level. The ripples on the water give a good indication of the direction of the wind.

St Oswald's Church, Hooe This is a fifteenth century church although some parts date from the 13th Century. The dedication probably dates from Saxon times showing that there has been a church on this site for hundreds of years. The church is in an isolated rural location accessed only by footpath and a narrow farm track called Church Lane.

Drainage Ditch, Hooe Level View from the footbridge as the drain travels straight ahead then turns 90 degrees to the right to lin up with Stream Ditch a larger drain. Old Road Farm can be seen on the higher ground in the distance.

Not a sight you see every day and I wouldn't usually post a photo of a person at a cashpoint machine! However, this guy in Hailsham, East Sussex just rode up on his horse, jumped off and got his cash. Looks like the horse knows his pin number now!

Visiting the Site of the Battle of Hastings that took place in 1066, The crypt of the church is built over the site where Harold II was defeated. (allegedly shot in the eye with an arrow) This led to the beginning of the Norman conquest of England and its history.
