«Great location, close to restaurants, shops, beach and by the ocean. Enjoyed watching the waves come crashing in from the restaurant. The concierges were super helpful in finding cool trips and activities. »

«The ocean was visible from my room which was the best part of the room. The toilet creaked and the seat would slide off. The tub needs to be redone. During the daytime I was inside the room there was slow construction going on for the new restaurant. My stay was not relaxing because of the constant noise. Apparently this hotel has been under construction for years so this is a constant issue if you want daytime quiet. The food options here are lacking and over priced. Once Dukes opens it’ll be ...

«The front desk staff was rude and the room was very dirty. Be aware if you end up with a non renovated room, the furniture is dusty and the desk hasn’t been wiped down, the carpet is old and the couch smells like pee. The staff is hit and miss, mostly miss.
The property itself is very nice but the ocean tower is very far. »

«We loved staying here for the convenient location near U Hawaii Hilo and all the Hilo sites. It’s a great walk around Banyan Dr and the park in the morning. And there is plenty of shade for pool time later in the day once beach time is done. It’s only 7 min drive to the main shopping and dining in Hilo. Great location, clean rooms, and helpful staff!»
