«Valgt stedet for å være "langt borte" og det var det og stedet leverte. Frokosten var absolutt i topp-klasse for en eks-britt som lever nå i Norge. Stedet var også valgt for utvalg av engesk øl, og stedet leverte der også. Eneste minus var romplassering. Vi fikk et rom som delte vegg med toalettene hvor det høres ut som om håndtørke er montert, dermed var det lyd derfra inntil puben stengt. OK det. Verre var hvor lytt det var mellom rommet vårt og naborommet forårsaket av en tynn dør i mellom ...

«Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. «Quite old establishment. Unlucky day for me the Floors/carpet were not vacuumed that day, i could see and smell it. To make it worse the clean new linen was placed on those dirty floors by the cleaning staff who change out the linen - make beds in the morning. Explains the hairs i found on my freshly made bed.»

Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn ...

«Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..»
