Staying on the water is a world apart from any hotel experience, The rustic charms and quirks of narrowboat living and the sense of community with other boat dwellers made it special. The houseboat itself is roomy and beautifully decorated from any vantage point. The beds were comfy and the rooms charming. The houseboat is conveniently located near the DLR station, a market, and a notable pub and has a great neighborhood feel. James’s hospitality and helpfulness were exactly what we needed.
