Nothing says adventure like facing your fears head on with an adventure buddy. I had already made the jump, and this is my friend, Brooke, taking the leap while I floated on a kayak below. It takes an adventurous spirit to see the stomach-dropping fear in front of you, and take the leap to overcome it. Lake Powell is a great spot to find epic rock climbing and cliff jumping. Those who manage to complete the epic climb are rewarded with the thrill of an epic jump! But it is important to always take every precaution, and always check the depth of the water prior to jumping. We found this cliff a swim away from our campsite at Lake Powell. #adventure #cliffjumping

Sunset at Reflection Canyon. It is a 2 hour drive from Escalante on a dirt road where a AWD is highly recommended. However when we arrived at the parking lot area we couldn't believe that a Honda Fit would make it there, but there it was. :-) From the parking lot area it is a 5 hour hike (plus minus one hour, depends on your navigation skills) through the stony desert of southern Utah. The hike itself is already beautiful but the reward when you eventually arrive at Reflection Canyon is priceless. We were the only two persons out there and we didn't even meet someone on our way back the next day. Make sure you carry enough water as there is absolutely no water source anywhere. Also I think that this place can not be found without a GPS but I was wrong with the Honda Fit before, too. ;-) #bvsblue #GreatOutdoors #Nature
The incredibly beautiful Golden Cathedral. We love Escalante, Utah because it is very underrated and less crowded in comparison to the nearby Zion NP and Bryce Canyon. #Adventure Quick Tip: Wear water-friendly shoes! You'll have to cross the river a few times to reach the canyon.
Got this great shot but almost went over the side. Big chunk of sandstone I was sitting on broke loose and slid only to stop about 1 foot or so from the edge. Camera on end of tripod and release in hand. I saved all my gear as my life flashed before me. Don't get to close to the edge. That sandstone is old and can give way at any time without notice!

Fantastisk Resort
Veldig bra men frokost var dårlig for pris ikke så mye valg. Veldig god pannekaker. Ellers utrolig bra ute plass mulighet å leige båt jetski padel Canon eller bare sitter ut og nytte utsikt. Utrolig flott ute område ingens. Vits å bo i Page dårligere hotell der

Helt ok, men dårlig mat
Vi kom litt sent på kvelden, dette er et motell, greit å parkere rett utenfor rommet. Litt slitt, men alt var helt greit. Maten derimot var veldig dårlig, og ikke er det andre plasser å spise på i nærheten.

Well-appointed house in a quiet, serene, and lovely neighborhood. The hills were a delight to wake up to, with the lack in the foreground. The house was tastefully furnished and had all the amenities for a great stay. LOVED the lodging!!!

The Grand Canyon itself is an amazing destination, however, there are so many great sites and destinations near or on the trip to the Grand Canyon. Stumbled upon this beautiful site on the journey to the north rim! There’s a great NPS visitor center here. There is a great treat of a population of California condors (an extremely endangered species for those who are unaware... as I was prior to my visit). There are also native artists selling beautiful works if you take the beautiful walk across to the other side of the bridge:)
