«Dirty linens! We booked very late and options were few, but thought that Holiday Inn couldn’t go terribly wrong. When we checked in, the beds were neatly made in our room, but linens not changed from the previous guest. Lots of small hair and other dirt in the bed. When we told the reception, they offered to change, but didn’t seem surprised and offered no compensation or real apology. «Loved the location and how clean the hotel was. Room may say coastal but does not have water view. It’s decorated in coastal decor. There is no Buffett breakfast offered only menu items that were just ok. Small pool. No bar service the first day. Second day they had offered bar service at pool but the poor bartender had to keep going up and down to get drinks. Not Whst I expected»

«The Beachcomber was a nice place to stay in ocean city. The staff we checked in with was very friendly and helpful. The location on 75th is far from the boardwalk, which is nice because the beach is much quieter. If you want to go to the boardwalk you can drive to the lot at the end of the inlet. You can walk to the normal Ocean City restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream, etc. The room was spacious and clean, with some minor wear and tear from being a beach hotel. «The room was impeccably clean. The staff was extremely helpful. There was sufficient parking. The only drawback was the absence of a balcony, but the beautiful view of the bay compensated for it. The price fit within my budget, and the location was wonderful, with the added convenience of a Denny's nearby.»

«Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Room was clean, Hotel was clean. We didn’t use the pool because we came for the beach but from my view from the room the pool also looked clean and well kept. The location of the hotel was perfect, just one block from the boardwalk. Check in was fast and seamless. Front desk was friendly. This was first time in Ocean City and most definitely will come back and will stay at the Gateway!»

«The hotel is good for the price point. The rooms are large and have a small kitchenette. The staff were great. We ate at the restaurant Sea Bay Cafe each morning. The service and food was good for the price. We enjoyed jumping in the pool after coming off the beach. It’s conveniently located near many restaurants.»

«From the time I arrived it was a very pleasant experience, my room was not ready when I got there, (I way too early) but the front desk made every effort to have my room ready as soon as possible, the outside bar was awesome, I also got poolside service which was great.»

«Was in town for a convention and training. The noise from the room above us was outrageous. Called the front desk for help twice. The noise kept us up 2 nights in a row . Went down to the front desk and the lady did not care at all. She kept telling by me it was softball girls that had to be at the field for an 8am game. I told her I knew all about it because my daughter had played travel ball also… But that was not an excuse for the amount of noise that we were hearing that was keeping ...
