Oldrag mountain is one of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Shenandoah National Park. Taken right close to the summit. The trail and boulders to get to the top was a challenging for a non-frequent hiker like me. I definitely enjoyed the quiet and calm feeling nature brought to me. This hike is, what locals said, the second challenging hike in the area. Yup. Definitely downgrading to the other hikes when I visit back Shenandoah. It took about 4-5 hours to climb up with all the stopovers for photo opps with the lookouts and going down was 2.5 hours. #NationalPark #hike

Taking it all in
Old Rag is one of the most popular hikes in the Shenandoah #NationalPark. The rock scramble makes for a very fun hike that leads to fantastic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Perfect in autumn when the leaves change colors, but of course it gets crowded on good-weather weekends.

Beautiful property in a great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful, which definitely made us feel welcomed. There were a few food options, and although we didn’t get to try them all, we would certainly come back to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We will be back!
