«We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you ...

«What a stunning part of the world this is! We stayed in 2 adjacent properties as an extended family of 14. The property was beautiful, in a picturesque location with all you would need for a get together of any kind. We came up to Aberdeenshire to scatter my Dad's ashes in a nearby village and it was the perfect balance of remote and within travelling distance of Aberdeen and surrounding areas. I can't recommend the property and the area/location highly enough»

«Friendly welcome and Dougie the owner couldn’t be more helpful. We arrived wet and frozen on bicycles cycling NE 250 and didn’t expect much but whole place is amazing. Accommodation is clean and has everything one needs for comfortable stay. Big bonus is games room. One of THE BEST places we have stayed.»

«Das Haus entsprach im groben unseren Vorstellungen, ist doch die Gegend nicht gerade mit tollen Häusern gepflastert. Der Ausblick aus der Küche war fantastisch zu jeder Zeit. Leider waren die Matratzen in beiden Zimmern extrem schlecht. Wir würden deshalb nicht unbedingt wieder kommen»

«The property was one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items. The situation was very private so no disturbance. It was very comfortable and we liked the supply of excellent quality bath robes. Our only negative was the garden which was not nice.The patio area was full of weeds and could have done with some maintenance and perhaps some pots with shrubs or flowers to brighten up the place»

«Set in rolling farmland not too far from the coast this spacious cottage offers a quiet retreat with a wonderful view. We were fascinated by the harvesting of the cereals and by the wildlife. We didn’t have binoculars but there were definitely some birds of prey and geese. The cottage was well equipped. We would highly recommend »
