Staffs was very good. 1st night I arrived late, hotel was fully booked. So the only room left was by the elevator. A bit noisy with the elevator up and down plus there is some heavy base music going till late around 1:00am. So I couldn't sleep well. I asked to switched to different tower on the 3rd day for the rest my total 5 nights staying.
But it was worst. The room was away from the elevator which is good. But there were a few families living around my room on the same floor was the so noisy all day all nights. Kids running around once in awhile all day all night. People come and go in and out of the different rooms with doors closing pound everytimes come and go. Dogs barking once in awhile days and nights. On the last night staying was the worst. It was New Year's Eve, I was a bit sick with a cold. Took a NeoCitran trying to get a good sleep. But with the kids running and people come and go every hour with door slammed noises. Then finally able to felt asleep a bit with putting my earphones on. But @ 2:00am o'clock the fire alarm went off, the hotel 1st and 2nd floor was on fire and I can smell it on the 5th floor. That time I realized had to get up and run outside. But the temperature was -25°C outside. Luckyly firefighter came and contained the fire and we able to go back in after couple hours. Back to the room took a few hours sleep with a bit smoky smell. Checked out early in the morning with an 8hours long drive back home to Prince George, BC. What a worst holiday!
