This property suited our needs very well. Checkin was easy, the host gave detailed instructions about the property and was responsive to messages. Easy parking, services neary, well outfitted place. Would definately stay here again.
If you want to explore Edinburgh this is a really great location. While compact, we were comfortable as a family of 5, and the kitchen was very well stocked, with some lovely personal touches. Station and supermarket both an easy walk. Very nice.
Convenient location to Prestonpans train station to take 15 minute train ride to Edinburgh. Nice place with lovely decorations. Comfortable furnishings. Well stocked kitchen with cooking supplies and seasonings. If you like tea, they offer a good variety.
Property exceeded our expectations. Flat came as advertised, very clean. Took advantage of the close proximity to the train station (easy 8 minute walk) to tour Edinburgh and area. Would recommend property to friends and family, thank you Georgi and Yoanna!
Visiting Edinburgh - great location and easy to use the train in/out of Edinburgh. No lift at the railroad station so difficult with luggage. Hosts were very communitive and provided great info! A perfect place for a family to stay as second bedroom is geared more for kids than adults. Would highly recommend!
Loved this flat and would 100% recommend staying here if looking for an affordable, clean, spacious, and fully functioning place to stay near Edinburgh or surrounding areas. The train was a 10 min walk (even with 3 kids) and it took 15 min from platform to platform.
The flat was exactly what we needed. It was clean, smelled good, the kitchen had the extras you normally need when traveling (oil for the pan, salt, etc), there’s laundry and a dryer, and the hot water was quick and plentiful.
Communication with the owner was also quick and positive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat when visiting the area. If you don’t mind a short commute and a quiet neighborhood, you should stay here. It’s great!
My daughter (7) and I, had a few days in Prestonpans during half term and had a great time. The property was ideal- lovely and clean and tidy and had things like tea towels, cleaning products, extra towels etc which makes a difference (anyone who has stayed somewhere and found none of this appreciates the presence of cleaning bits and loo roll!). The flat is well located for travel- we did do a lot of driving but that was a keenness to fit in as much as we could! The train station is really close and we were able to park (for free) with no problems despite people going to work and the local schools being back. Train into Edinburgh 14 mins and a breeze. The local beaches are good and varied (some stony, some sandy and lots of rock pools). Flat was lovely and warm and had hive heating control which was really easy to use. Host communication was great also. No complaints and recommended by us! Thankyou
My family of 7 (2 adults, 5 children) chose this home to be close to Edinburgh but in a quieter location. It was perfect! The train to Edinburgh was 14 minutes and a short walk, and the bus stops were very close as well. There were toys, books, and games that kept the kids busy, too. The kitchen was well stocked and worked well for us to cook in daily. We had a small very fixable issue and Georgi responded and talked us through it very quickly. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!
The home was just as advertised. Conveniently located, clean and comfortable. Our host left us a sweet welcome basket and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. She was super responsive when our GPS didn’t work and guided us to the house.
We DEFINITELY recommend this home and hope to return. Thank you for making our holiday in Scotland so wonderful
We weren’t intending to be in the property much during our stay. But it fitted our needs perfectly. Warm, clean and comfortable. We would recommend it.
