Overall, the stay was okay and the location was really convenient, especially being close to the airport. However, the experience itself wasn’t great. When I came back in the evening to check in, the staff at the bar/reception didn’t seem very welcoming — not exactly rude, but almost annoyed that we were there. It was quite a contrast from earlier in the day, when I dropped off my luggage before check-in and was helped by a really friendly and helpful team.
The room also wasn’t what I had booked — we got an accessible room with a double bed instead of two single beds. Not terrible, but a bit inconvenient with a really tall husband. The shower curtain was slightly discolored at the bottom, which made it look dirty, and the soap provided in the shower caused a rash on my skin (which almost never happens).
It wasn’t a terrible stay, but definitely below what I’d expect from a Marriott Bonvoy hotel.
