«I can’t praise this property enough! It has been done up to a fantastic spec, very clean, very very well equipped and everything is set out and explained very well. (I always bring extra tea towels, kitchen foil etc because most houses we stay in never have them but this place had everything). The view is amazing, and you can walk straight onto the beach. The owner was super helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thanks you for a wonderful stay!»

«We could have spent all our time sitting in the lounge or out in the garden enjoying the fantastic views of the islands. We were lucky with weather most of our stay so views were stunning. Only downside was the picture windows in the lounge had trapped condensation on them so the views were restricted somewhat by that. Enjoyed the walk up the hill behind the house most mornings. «Waterside is a stunning property in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The property was well appointed and there was ample room for our family group of 8. We were blessed with great weather so enjoyed the views from the balcony. We made use of the information about the local attractions and went on the ferry to Tarbert as foot passengers (great advice), ate at Botanica at the Barn and Kames Hotel (both amazing) and spent a glorious day on Ostell Bay beach.»

«Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. «Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. «Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!»
