Columbus

The Main Street Bridge spans the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio and is a major landmark in the downtown district of the USA city.
The neon pink filament like blooms of the Persian Silk Tree (Albizia julibrissin). The leaves of this tree are very similar to the leaves of the Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica). Unlike the Sensitive Plant, the leaves of the Persian Silk Tree are not thigmotropic and do not close upon touch. The tree is very attractive in bloom and has a tropical look for being winter hardy in many places in the Northern U.S. However, in many places the tree is invasive and is negatively allelopathic to neighboring plant life.
