«We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting the area, what a great find. The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn..»

«Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.»

«Conveniently located for sight-seeing in Wells, owners were very helpful and friendly, food was exceptionally good, enjoyed our stay and would recommend»

«Vi var her kun for en natt, og for å komme oss fort videre morgenen etter. God service fra resepsjonen. Fornøyd med room service og renslighet. Fint rom til vårt bruk.»

«Such a great stay at the hideaway. The accommodation and views were stunning. Had such a warm welcome from the hosts and the breakfast and attention to detail just made it that bit more special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again »

«Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again.»

«I'll sum this review up at once: Our best hotel experience ever! My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful, relaxing time here. The hotel itself is beautiful. The garden is large and quiet, the restaurant serves the most delicious food - the smoked salmon and parmesan risotto starter, and the salmon with teriyaki sauce in particular being two of the best dishes I've ever tasted - and the staff is the most friendly and helpful I've ever come across at a hotel. «Modern, clean hotel, large rooms with seating area, large bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels, super king sized bed with crisp white sheets. Air conditioning throughout the hotel is a bonus but what really makes this hotel special is all the staff who are friendly and helpful. Extra £5 pp per day if you want cooked breakfast but well worth it as the choice is good.»

«Very surprised at the cleanliness and tidiness at the property. Staff pleasant and helpful.»

«Flott pub med god mat, fine rom og svært hyggelig betjening. Enkelt å få parkert og det var også en ladestasjon for elbil rett over veien. Vi valgte å ta ei ekstra natt her, og drog på landsby besøk til Lacock og Castle Combe, etter anbefaling fra verten vår. Absolutt nydelige små engelske byer ❤️. »

«Fint overnatningssted når man er på farten.»

«Helt greit. Rent, men noe gammelt»

«My husband and I had a great stay at the Crossways. The staff were amazing and so helpful, the room was spacious and food was delicious!»
