«I'll sum this review up at once: Our best hotel experience ever! My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful, relaxing time here. The hotel itself is beautiful. The garden is large and quiet, the restaurant serves the most delicious food - the smoked salmon and parmesan risotto starter, and the salmon with teriyaki sauce in particular being two of the best dishes I've ever tasted - and the staff is the most friendly and helpful I've ever come across at a hotel. «Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.»

«Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room,  ...

«Jeg bodde kun 1 natt på hotellet ifm gjennomreise. Hotellet ligger i utkanten av Wells så en er avhengig av bil / taxi (eller offentlig transport ?) dersom en ønsker å reise inn til sentrum. Stedet tilbyr mange aktiviteter i nærområdet (ikke benyttet) - tilsynelatende mest for barn(?) Rommet var stort og baderommet var også av god størrelse.
