«This was a rare miss. I've had 5 great stays, but this one was pretty bad. It all came down to the bathroom. Either there wasn't a fan, or the fan wasn't working. That was just an annoyance. The bad part was the shower. There was a tub and NO handles! I am disabled, and required assistance to enter and exit the shower. I almost needed help IN the shower. It's standard nowadays to have that sort of thing come standard, so I never had to ask before. It's pretty embarrassing to have to request that ...

«The Hotel got an issue probably fire or so, huge part of the building was smelling terrible and a lot toxic air inside de hall, and rooms!
My room was affected, I was out for work and nobody notified me at all, I realized that significant part of the hotel was closed and "all" people were relocated in a different rooms until the next day morning when i ask about the internet and complain about the terrible smell!!
On top of that, Teresa which is the front desk manager scolded me for not being at ...

«Very enjoyable stay at the Benson. Staff was super friendly, and the room was comfortable, well appointed, and clean. My only "negative" is that the disabled friendly (no steps) entrance was almost always locked from the outside, even during the day. This was a minor inconvenience for me, as I am mostly mobile, but would have been a major one were I in a wheelchair. Otherwise, it is a fabulous hotel and I would absolutely stay again!»
