I arrived early on Sunday, March 1st to see if early check-in was possible. I waited about 15 minutes before someone came to the front desk. Unfortunately, the staff member was short and somewhat rude when informing me that early check-in was not available.
Later that day, I returned with my family to officially check in and settle into our room. When we entered, we were shocked to find that the room was clearly under construction and should not have been assigned to guests. The bathroom flooring had been removed, and there was a shovel and other equipment left near the door. It was unacceptable and disappointing, especially after a long day of travel.
I believe her name was Tracey, and she did resolve the issue quickly, which I appreciate. However, given the circumstances, I would have expected an upgraded room or some form of compensation. Additionally, the pool was not available for use during our stay.
Overall, while I appreciate Tracey’s prompt assistance and hospitality, this experience makes it unlikely that I would book here again.
