Welcome to Bayside Villas 4220. Our completely renovated one bedroom/two bathroom vacation rental condominium features a spacious living area, open kitchen, screened lanai as well as bedroom with king bed and en-suite bathroom. There is another full bathroom down the hall way for guests. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa allowing the condominium to sleep up to four guests. Enjoy the marina and water views from the screened lanai and the beach is just a short walk away. The Bayside Villas association features a heated pool, hot tub and coin operated laundry on the lower level. Resort amenity access isn't available, however, you won't need that when you're saving up to 50% or more compared to resort rates, never pay a daily resort fee and get to choose your exact unit. Want to grab a bite to eat or visit the shops? .... the Captiva Village area is a short car ride or golf cart ride from the complex as well.

**Please note that due to Hurricane Ian, certain building amenities such as the elevator, pool heater and more may not be functioning properly. There will also be noise associated with reconstruction. Perfect place for Captiva Homeowners, vendors, etc.**

Very well appointed condo. Some nice extras like beach chairs and umbrella. Could use a corkscrew but we got the bottle opened anyway. If you could pass on to rental agent I didn’t see instructions that said we needed to stop by the office first. I could’ve missed it though. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

A great stay on Captiva
We enjoyed our stay on Captiva. The condo was clean and as expected. The property was being painted, but it didn't bother us, as we know the islands are recovering from Ian. The pool was great. I've already recommended the property to a friend.

Relaxing in paradise
We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is cute, clean and stocked with everything we needed. There was construction happening but nothing that disturbed our stay. We are so pleased to see the progress being made on the island. We will be back next year!

Beautiful condo
This is a beautiful place with very nice amenities. Comfortable and clean. There is lots of work still going on around the unit, building and ground but it did not disturb our stay.

Dishonest
Both the listing and the reviews did not give a clear picture of the premises current state. The listing mentioned that there is nearby construction, but failed to mention that this is an active construction site. In fact, when the construction crews are not around, the entire place is abandoned and downright creepy. There are no staff on-site to accommodate you. In one instance, we did not have the laundry detergent that was promised and I t took over 24 hours to be rectified. The laundry machines only take coins and are $2.50 per load, but there is nowhere to exchange coins unless you go to a local shop to ask for change. Overall our stay was very inconvenient and has this listing been clear that the entire property is a construction zone, instead of just having construction “nearby,” I never would have booked my stay. I reached out to the management for my money back. They said the only chance I could have at that was to have someone else book my room. Considering there was nobody else staying on the entire site, the chances of that happening were slim to none and they knew that.

Quick weekend away
Despite rebuilding, everything was perfect. The construction was very quiet on the weekend and didn’t start until after 8 this morning (Monday). The beaches are just as beautiful and restaurants are open. We got a golf cart delivered from sanibel carts and ate at every restaurant in Captiva. We’ll see you soon.

Great place!
It’s great to see Captiva being restored since the hurricane. As expected there were construction noises and not many places open yet, but we were happy to put some money back into the economy there. Visited all of the beaches on Captiva and Sanibel. Collected many shells. Wonderful dinners at Doc Fords and The Mucky Duck. The pool appeared to be brand new and was gorgeous. Had an issue with the keypad entry and Dream Realty handled it quickly. Would stay again here! Cute place with everything we needed

Bummer for Captiva Island - Bad time to have booked a stay
VRBO- My heart goes out to all in Captiva and Sanibel Island. Sadly the local VRBO Mgmt Company, Dream Vacation Rentals has informed me they plan to keep my entire payment in full paid in full via the VRBO platform....Even though they had no way of providing me with the accommodations on Captiva that was part of our agreement. Extremely disappointing.! The one star ratings were clearly because there was no stay!
