CONVENIENCE
For longer stays (8+ days), we will be offering a light service and linen/towel change on a complementary basis: twice weekly during season (Dec-Feb), otherwise weekly. We will schedule this with you for a convenient time.
This apartment is on the third floor right next to the elevator and stairs. The elevator is linked to a backup generator and should always be operational.
In case of loadshedding, emergency lighting is available in all rooms with an EcoFlow back-up system powering Wi-Fi and TV. Superfast internet is always available.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our apartments are furnished as far as possible with local and sustainable artisanal products. We take pride in equipping our staff to take part in the Cape's vibrant tourism sector. Energy and water efficiency measures have been taken to manage environmental footprint, with recycling facilities available on site to assist you.
Guest Access:
Guests will have the entire apartment to themselves. Access to the apartment is controlled by a smart lock, and access to the building is secure.
There is one parking bay available for the apartment, safe behind an electric gate.
The Neighborhood:
Upper Sea Point is a prime residential area, with the most desirable stretch lying above High Level Road - where you'll find this block. Residents enjoy stunning sea views and an escape from the hustle and bustle of Main Road, but close proximity to urban conveniences.
Within walking distance, you'll find: the Promenade for a seaside stroll or jog, well-loved restaurants such as La Boheme and Posticino, and a range of shops.
If you're feeling active, the hiking trail to Signal Hill starts on your doorstep.
Getting Around:
There is one off street parking bay available for the apartment, behind an electric gate. Ubers are readily available at most times, and there are several bus routes nearby.

LOGISTICS
Kindly note that the apartment block is at the top of a steep hill. Access is easy with a vehicle, but walking up from the seaside or Main Road requires physical fitness.
BOOKING POLICY
We reserve the right to decline booking requests from guests with ratings below 5*. This is to ensure excellent accommodation experiences for future guests and comply with building regulations.
Kindly note that we do not accept third party bookings without prior consent in writing. We will request identity information for third parties and may request guest verification.
We cannot accommodate children under 6 at this property since balconies are a risk to young children.
DATA SHARING AND PROTECTION
To ensure the safety and security of guests, we will require some information from you, including a copy of your ID or passport. Please contact us for details on our data protection and privacy approach. We will gladly explain how we keep your information safe.
RULES
Smoking is not allowed anywhere at this property. Guests contravening this rule will be fined R5,000 and be liable for any additional cleaning and repair costs incurred.
We reserve the right to immediately cancel reservations of guests breaking our house rules, including smoking, holding parties, overcrowding our property, or behaving disrespectfully towards our staff. In this case, guests will forfeit payment for unused nights.
ANIMALS
Some residents in the complex keep pets, however they will not have access to your space and you are very unlikely to encounter them during your stay.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available to assist with any questions, concerns and issues during your stay. We will remain available on Airbnb, but are also available via mobile messaging and email.
