## THE ACCOMMODATION
Discover our recently renovated 40 sqm apartment, a peaceful haven in the bustling Chartrons district. This two-room accommodation, blending the charm of old Bordeaux stones with modern furnishings, offers a unique living experience in Bordeaux.
In the bright living room, the contrast between the authentic parquet floors and the typical Bordeaux stone walls creates an atmosphere that is both elegant and warm. The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed. The practical and comfortable sofa bed in the living room transforms the space into additional sleeping arrangements, allowing the apartment to accommodate up to four people.
The kitchen is a true asset of this apartment. With its cement tile floor, it is equipped with all the necessary modern appliances, including an oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, and a complete range of utensils for you to prepare your favorite meals.
The bathroom, combining aesthetics and functionality, completes this comfortable and practical living space.
We offer tailored concierge services, including personalized welcome and the option to choose breakfast, to ensure a pleasant and unique stay. The apartment is located in a secure building.
Situated on Cours de la Martinique, in the heart of the dynamic Chartrons district, the apartment is ideally located to explore Bordeaux. A cot can be provided at a cost of €20 per stay and €30 with a high chair.
## DEPOSIT
As part of your rental, a bank imprint of €250 is required and must be made via your Enso Connect accommodation guide. Please note that an additional administration fee of €3.30 applies. The hold does not affect your credit card limit and is automatically cancelled within two days of your departure, subject to compliance with the general terms and conditions of sale and the accommodation being returned in perfect condition.
## EXCHANGES WITH TRAVELERS
One of our receptionists will contact you on the day of your arrival to arrange your check-in time. Arrivals are organized between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m, any late arrival is subject to additional charges.
## GETTING AROUND
From Mérignac airport: Take tram A or bus 1 from the Mérignac aéroport stop to the Gambetta Mériadeck stop, then walk 5 minutes and take bus 15 from the Gambetta stop to the Martinique stop.
From Gare Saint Jean: Take tramway C from Gare Saint Jean to Paul Doumer stop and walk 5 minutes.

## THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The perfect setting for a short stay or a long weekend. The beautiful buildings are a great indication of a prosperous time in Bordeaux. The land once belonged to a former Carthusian monastery (Chartreux in French, which leads to the present name, Les Chartrons), drained by the Dutch in the 17th century. It used to be was the home of English, Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian and German merchants who built beautiful houses and cellars. Cours Xavier Arnozan (previously called the Pavé des Chartrons) is one of the city's most aristocratic and elegant 18th century streets. It was still very much a sign of social status to live on the "Pavé" in the past century. Shops, boutiques are open all over the weekend plus an outlet factory, The Quai des Marques which is a convenient location with car park and tramway stop nearby where you will be able to shop and brunch at an outdoor café with the view of the Jacques Chaban-Delmas bridge which makes it worth coming all year long. This was the perfect place to stay for a week while visiting Bordeaux. Very clean and comfortable, the views of the rooftops are pretty and it felt comfortable and private. The shower was great, too. I would definitely stay again!
Good, well equipped apartment in a great location. Walking distance to everything as well as good public transport. Was perfect for our family with young kids.
Great location where you want to stay in Bordeaux. It is a 3 story walk up and we were fine with that but I thought I should mention that if that is an issue for you. FYI - Great bakery half way up the street on other side to the right of apt.
Easy to coordinate check in. The apartment was clean and bright, and the high ceilings make the space feel even larger than it is. The location is awesome—very close to a bunch of great restaurants and shops, and just a short walk from the tram. A/C and the washer/dryer combo in-unit both came in handy. There are quite a few stairs up to the apartment (it’s the top floor), but on the plus side: no-one above you!

Modern cute rooftop apartment in great location, tram stop in just one block away! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the rooftop views of the neighborhood. Bed was firm and comfortable.
PROS: great location, well appointed apartment, lots of windows with great cross ventilation.
CONS: 3 story walk up (no elevator), street slightly noisy in the AM

Bon séjour
Un joli appartement sous les toits bien placé dans Bordeaux (le tram est à 500m).
Une personne qui a accueillie très bien et qui a répondu à nos questions à tout moment.
Par contre un appartement qui manque de confort (la literie notamment) et où le ménage pourrait être plus poussé…

Our stay in Chartrons apartment
The apartment was perfect for our needs and was clean & nicely decorated.
The location is great-very close to the tram stop & river and a short walk to the lovely Rue Notre dame. The check in process was a bit frustrating as I made an appointment on the app to meet the concierge but no one was there to meet us. We had to wait 30mins in the street after our journey while I tried to call the letting agency. Once the girl arrived she was lovely & helpful but had been given an incorrect contact number for me by the agency or owner so it was not her fault. The app is a bit frustrating to use, an email or more personal contact would be preferable.

We were in Bordeaux for a week in the summer so chose an apartment for 1) location 2) air conditioning 3) laundry and 4) washer. Location was very good - close to Rue Notre Dame 2) air conditioning required service but workman came (unannounced) on the third day 3) laundry didn’t work. Host said he knew that before we checked in and didn’t know when it would be fixed. 4) refrigerator door didn’t shut properly causing the freezer to be one giant block of ice and water to drip on our food. Host said he knew that too before we checked in and didn’t know when it would be fixed. Kitchen was minimally stocked for cooking e.g. two dull paring knives, nothing larger or for bread. Hosts initial response time was great but he seemed unable to resolve issues. This is a professional management company, not an individual. I would not recommend this apartment or hosting company.
