«If there were an award for turning a waterfront vacation into a survival exercise, this hotel would win it hands down. We booked this hotel solely for the balcony. «Breakfast was your typical hotel fare. Room was very small with very small bathroom with view of power cables and I spent 1100 dollars for two nights (Wed/Thur) during a typical week (no special events). Best to wait and book closer to when you go. Others staying there got much larger rooms with the lake view and paid about half to two/thirds of what I did, but they booked a week ahead. Considering staying in Mackinaw City next time and going over each day. Much cheaper with nicer ...

«The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. «There was black mold/mildew on the ceiling in the shower. The door to the bathroom was literally falling apart and did not close completely. My room was supposed to be and executive suite... It was simply two rooms that shared a door. The breakfast was crowded, understaffed, and not very good. The employees did the best they could.»
